Boomers are asking why the song It Takes Two became huge on Twitter and they find out it's a video game using the song It Takes Two for a video game literally titled It Takes Two.

The story of my life if I were to make movies before switching to video games. Feels like a parody at this point. And of course you can't forget the fact that the game is directed by this genius:

Somehow I think the tale of Josef Fares is a tragic one, counting the fact that every movie during his career as a film director was a completely flop and nowadays he tries the hardest to emulate hollywood on gaming world as some kind of revenge.

Not a bad ploy tbh.It looks like something stolen from several Disney movies, ffs.
It's like these people purposefully ignore how high divorce rates are and refuse to realize it may not always be because their relationships suck, but because we're in a world of unrealistic expectations of what relationships are supposed to be, constantly pushed by the media and by the social media of other couples. The ONLY solution is obviously to go through a messy legal process to attempt to leave your partner behind! Yes, it takes two is a nonsense fest that oversimplifies how people feel after constantly being around each other for years, but at least it's not another pile to the promotion of divorce as the end all be all, ignoring how humans actually work with emotional connections. And the absolute uncaring nature of these 'journalists' when relating to the child. One of the main reasons divorce is a disaster is because of how many retards attempt to initiate it AFTER HAVING KIDS. You've decided that you're mature enough to raise another human, but apparently you can't accept the responsibility of working with someone you've probably been with for years to do so? And the guardian acts like the psychological harm that it incurs on the children is somehow nil. Yes, seeing the people that have raised you for years together "going their seperate ways" and one of them moving their shit to another house or possibly both of them moving to put actual distance between each other is surely unharmful. This likely resulting in a massive legal battle where the two 'parents' fight for material things and probably fight over their own offspring definitely doesn't cause additional harm to a small child's developing mind. The rose colored glasses that intersectionalists have to the concept of divorce is the same if not stronger pair that those that think divorce should never happen wear.anyone remember the SEETHING reviews journalists made to try and drum up controversy?
>I almost turned it off. Genuinely, after 10 minutes, I'd had enough. A story about a girl's divorcing parents who are magically shrunk so they can go on an adventure together, and in doing so work out their differences and get back together? Do me a favour. People divorce and families move on. It's a normal part of life and shouldn't be construed as anything but. Are children supposed to play this and believe their parents could have rescued their relationship? Are divorced parents supposed to play it and feel bad? It's a dangerous idea to play with and I wish It Takes Two hadn't.

>Unfortunately, although the game is a joyful, chatty experience to play, the story is mawkish, unsubtle and deeply problematic. At the beginning, a series of cutscenes tell us the parents have amicably decided to divorce, but we’re not told why or how. We only know it makes their daughter sad, so the adventure to restore their relationship feels manipulative. We’re seemingly being told that no matter how dysfunctional a marriage may be, it must be saved to prevent psychological harm to the child.
-The Guardian
>It is an absolute delight to play through its chunky dozen or so hours. All of which are filled with ever-shifting invention. The tale it spins is rather less successful, however. Its concept is problematic in and of itself, with the inherent and simplistic suggestion that struggling relationships can be salvaged just by, you know, working together and that.
-The Telegraph
>Their confusion is redoubled when they are confronted by a mustachioed book who pops onto the scene and, as a Latin guitar theme trills in the background, introduces himself as Dr. Hakim, “worldwide best seller, and expert on love!” Dr. Hakim’s over-the-top affect and taste for cliched wisdom calls to mind the heavy-handed, lamentable ways minorities have too long been portrayed in popular media.

If the kids aren't in therapy then it's because mommy (daddy is rarer from my experience) doesn't want them stable because it screws up her bargaining chip. It's like these people purposefully ignore how high divorce rates are and refuse to realize it may not always be because their relationships suck, but because we're in a world of unrealistic expectations of what relationships are supposed to be, constantly pushed by the media and by the social media of other couples. Dude you can buy greeting cards celebrating divorce and other inane shit at this point.Divorce is not dignified. It's an ugly monstrous thing eight times out of ten. It should not be normalized as it is.
I have never seen those cards, but I'll believe you. It's revolting, like some anti-shipping community that targets normal folk.Dude you can buy greeting cards celebrating divorce and other inane shit at this point.
It's normalized because it's a big money maker. There are people who's entire career rests on a steady stream of people wanting to separate.
