is it possible that someone can be tracking my computer? - and no I'm not talking glow niggers

  • 🔧 Actively working on site again.
Do you use google? Do you have a smartphone? Do you have family that has posted photos with you in them on facebook, even if you don't have an account yourself? Do you use the internet in any form?

If you answer yes to any of these questions, then yes, you are being tracked.

So you're seeing ads which are not relevant to you, and that makes you think you're being tracked? What?

This is just word salad. Can you elaborate?
well I live in detroit and work as a janny, I am getting ads, for trucking trucks and move to florida, when I changed my vpn provider I only get ads to the country my vpn is set to, but now I am getting ads for the usa when my vpn is on, and my yahoo account got hacked the other day, I dont use yahoo on my laptop and I don't use kiw farms on my phone but since my yahoo got hacked, basically now I am getting irrevelent ads for usa that is applicable to a certain person I know, even with vpn is on. :( idk how to describe it, its weird.

If someone else is using your VPN company's servers while searching for moving trucks in Florida, ad tracking companies might have associated the IP address of the VPN exit node with that and they're now showing those ads to you too.

The ads being relevant to someone else you know might just be glossolalia.

Tracking cookies probably. Clear all your cookies and you'll probably get country-specific ads again. That is unless they're reading a region code off of your computer. There's a ton of ways they can find that out and it's not necessarily an indication that they're "onto you".

I don't really know what to make of "applies to a certain person I know". Applications or your phone spying on you for ad purposes is a well known thing, but it greatly depends on what services were used to communicate your desires and what services are serving you the suspect ads. I can't really speculate beyond that.

That too. VPNs don't make you invisible, they just "anonymize" you. That basically means the services confuse you for other people.

Also, are you drunk?
