I've seen a lot of VAs getting butt-hurt about that lately. What the hell is the problem there? I really hope some of these people get the Mari Iijima reality check. She was trying to distance herself from Minmay for a while and got mad when people would tell her how much they loved Minmay. Result: people stopping talking to her at all. Often people talk about characters (or even worse for the VAs, shows) because they really don't know who the hell you are, and really, if you didn't voice X, they wouldn't care either.
Got back to doing community theater you narcissistic dumbasses.

They do the exact same thing when people tell them to stop bringing up their politics. A lot of these VAs tend to act like assholes towards fans because they seem to think that if someone acts like a jerk or are perceived to be behaving that way they can react however they feel like towards them as if they're complete strangers.
There's a reason why Vic still has a large fanbase while the other VAs are a niche within a niche: It's because they treat lot of their fans with contempt/artificial kindness instead of authentic kindness.

What would he hire Vic for? The guy just produces some shit audiobooks that aren't cannon. Audio voice over work pays fucking peanuts. (You tend to get paid on how many audio books were sold). Flat rate is fine but will pay you even less over all. Besides, why do any voice work for a book no one wants when you can do a fan show everyone including the original actors love?
By the way, I like how he went on a show no one watches/ listens to.
