These aren't things anyone's looking for in a potential partner. They bought property out in the boonies just south of Naval Air Weapon Station China Lake. It was 2-3 miles from a retired impact range. I forget the timeline exactly, but I believe the Navy had commissioned an environmental impact survey on reopening the range the year before the troons bought it. It's moving forward with plans to reopen it for drone development and special operations forces training last I checked.
