It's always been wishy washy on how much money the guy actually has made. He was for sure doing well but it he seemed to waste a ton of money. People claim that his channel was never monetized and he made all of his $$$ from cameos and superchats. If that's true, we've already seen how much money he blows on food, guns, etc, so it is reasonable to think that he's going to be broke soon.

A broke-ass Chris Hanson doesn’t have the money to pay him even if he wanted to. Since Hanson is, I believe, not employed by any news organization, there’d also be no way for him to monetize an interview to get that money recovered on the backend. If he is employed, a legit news organization wouldn’t pay him for an interview since most don’t pay for interviews. You’d have to go to some tabloid site like TMZ or the Inquirer if you want to monetize this, but I strongly doubt they have any interest in giving money to anyone that has been credibly accused of being a pedofork.

Trying to monetize being accused of wanting to rape a child is the height of insanity and autism. No one is going to give you money. And as others have said if you’re truly innocent, you’d do it for free.

Chris would never do it. Whatever production company runs his operation is where the money would come from.

Ultimately though they wouldn't pay because why should they? He's not special, except in a short bus kind of way, so where's the incentive to give him a large sum of money. The whole point of the interview would be for Chris to go over his chatlogs and the like and for Fatty to give his side of the story then try to "keep it real" when that doesn't work.

THat, and we've already seen his fat predator ass get ambushed by cameras, confronted with the evidence/chatlogs showed to his face, act like a scared, blubbering imbecile, make a laundry list of excuses, get shamed on a massive scale, and do the perp walk away from the scene. About the only thing we didn't get was him getting bean bagged by cops.

I remain convinced that EDP had no intention of talking to Hansen. He asked for a ridiculous sum of money knowing that Chris would never accept it. Imagine, however, that Chris said 'okay, done.' Then we could have potentially seen Bryant move goalposts around and make more unreasonable requests.

My hypothesis anyway.

Bryant has delusions of grandeur and puts on a tough front so I wouldn't be surprised that he fantasizes about an encounter where he dominates the conversation. This is probably how Bryant wishes the encounter with Hansen would go:

His delusions are next level these days. I've not been keeping up completely, just checking in on the subreddit every week or so. Him maintaining his innocence, starting up the tough guy talk again, and claiming the "EatDatPussy movement" will continue is like insane asylum levels of delusion. I think my favorite part is him claiming he has a "'movement" when the only reason people ever watched him was because he was a lardass freak show.

Does anyone have a TL;DR of this? I have little desire to listen to almost 2 hours of this.

Edit: I skimmed through the video. It's broken into 3rds.

1/3 is a shitty recap of everything made by someone who was obviously just going off the cliffnotes. It's not worth watching at all because everyone knows this shit at this point. The 2nd 1/3 is an interview with the predator poachers. Again, not worth watching because the entire time Chris Hansen is looking down his nose at them and you can tell he thinks he's better than them despite getting famous doing the exact same thing they did. The biggest news is that Alex says the police have been in contact with him as soon recently as last week and are still actively investigating EDP. The segment ends with Chris Hansen being morally outraged by Alex's nigger joke from years ago. The last 1/3 is Chris talking to a supposed legal expert about how vigilante justice is heckin bad.

None of it is worth watching. Chris shouldn't have even made the video if this is all he has to add to it. The only thing you need to know is that the police are actively compiling evidence against EDP.

Meh, not worth watching. Alex can't express himself very well, refused to talk about him using racial slurs, used words such as 'retard' and generally came off as you'd expect. CC unit guy was pretty quiet. Hanson is doing his best impression of himself from Dateline, but all gravitas is lost once you consider the subject matter.

God damn, both Chet and the other guy gave just about the most unprofessional interview they possibly could have. I probably performed better in job interviews when I was 16 than they did here.

However, Chris' focus on "you said bad words, that means your other work is negated" was pretty stupid. Didn't Chris get charged with larceny for not paying for merchandise? Someone could say "well Chris, that casts doubt on the integrity of your character and negates your entire body of work both before and after" and I would still say that's a shit take. Likewise, his railing against vigilante justice seems pretty dumb when he pretty much got famous and made plenty of money doing the same thing, albeit he was always backed by local law enforcement. Weren't the people that worked with Chris baiting offenders to the sting house also vigilantes? Chris seemed pretty happy to work with them, what changed? Or does he just want to pull the ladder up behind him?

Chet seems like a moron but he gets results, Hansen's criticism of him rings hollow in this video.

Eh, that account is probably run by some intern who has to respond to every tweet or they'll get fired. Highly doubt they care or even know who the fuck EDP is.

YouTube brought in $20 billion in revenue for Google. I guarantee you they don't let interns in the rooms where the account is managed, much less on the actual Twitter account. If it's domestically operated, the person managing it is well paid but obviously didn't do their due diligence. If they farm out managing replies to some overseas office, those people are also well paid compared to the average person but also didn't do any due diligence.

I don't understand where people get the idea that interns are running social media accounts for large, trillion-dollar multinational companies, especially in the year 2021. The people running these things have degrees in business and communications with years of experience. But they're still going to fuck up because it's impossible to intimately know the YouTube drama for millions of channels.

I just see alot of tweets and such from accounts like Wendy's and other big-name brands and can't help but think they sound like a 16 year old is writing them.
