Not going. Let in as a sympathy enrollment/do very enrollment/PR move by the school, but Jazz is not capable of self-governing so not allowed to leave (and probably scared to).

It's been mentioned before in this thread that historically, eunuchs were known to get quite fat and carry that fat in their abdomens. (They were also known to have long limbs because puberty apparently your limbs get the signal to stop growing when puberty stops, but if puberty never starts that doesn't work.)
I thought he was a radiologist. At any rate, I'm sure he studied nutrition in medical school.

I'm sure an elderly doctor is just gonna say eat less, move more, which...yeah, it's obvious. Jazz has to limit his calories and eat healthier foods. The problem is that he has no emotional coping skills and also takes medications that probably fuck with his hunger cues and make him retain fluid. The other problem is that Jazz is a guinea pig, so maybe no one really knows how much his metabolism has been affected by all of this Mengelian experimentation. But mainly Jazz just needs to eat less and better.

i honestly wonder if the endless bemoaning of tfw no gf sander does isn't about getting a gf as much as i assume triggering the sudden rush of people online assuring him that he's wanted and desirable.given i don't think any of the non-jazzes could escape the no-doubt deep-seeded complex towards being the spares to the most special, most loved golden child, maybe he's using it as a proxy to feed into the abyss within him for validation of his worth his mother never bothered to fill.
because all talk of desperate rapeface aside, there's really no reason a fit, attractive-enough mid-level tiktokthot couldn't find another of their kind to suck faces with. it'd even be a decently-done cynical maneuver to buoy his influencer-attempts-- nothing like that collab content to widen your audience.
so maybe it's not an inability; maybe it's an addiction.

I understand what you're saying but we may never hear about whatever is really going on because anything that family says is being filtered through TLC and probably a PR person: Any new plotline has to support the narrative of "trans is great" and not upset the advertisers.
With the weight gain, they tried to make it cute with those awful Tik Tok videos until they came up with the Season 7 plotline of Binge Eating Disorder. BED helps them dodge awkward questions about why he is overeating so much and a ton of Americans have or had issues with their weight, it's a decent angle.
Unfortunately for our sadistic interest recreational drugs and munching just aren't as safe for TV so they're unlikely to be acknowledged even if that's really what happens. Drugs aren't nearly as sympathetic and much easier to hide - hide the bottles in the drawers and use the magic of editing to cover up needle marks. We also know from some unintentionally revealing shots that he's on a dozen-odd prescription drugs so erratic behavior from recreational ones is liable to be chalked up to that. Munchhausens isn't any more sympathetic; normies don't understand why someone would voluntarily do that to himself/herself and doctors will not touch a known munchie due to ethics and liability concerns. If that happens it's way more likely to be chalked up to transphobia or his weight than acknowledging he's certifiable.
The big thing to remember is, "reality" TV is the most misleading title there is.

As much as jeannette and maybe other family members want a WLS saga, I think that jazz is going to go with a HAES saga ultimately. It pisses off his mom and the rhetoric from the fat studies people is like a parasite on academic queer theory, which jazz knows now by rote and has seen his mom use as a cudgel to get whatever she wants.
Contrary to what people have been saying in this thread, he does not have the appetite of a teenage boy. He is 21, and was only fat for a tiny bit of his teen years (and nowhere near this fat). The increased appetite in males has to do with the body needing materials to increase bone and muscle mass. The appetite increase happens in concert with the growth. You don't have one without the other. If you don't eat enough, the growing won't happen. If you aren't growing, there should not be a massive increase in appetite. Plus, on the show we have seen when jazz eats. It has nothing to do with hunger and everything to do with soothing himself during tantrums. He eats when things are going poorly in life.
As far as meds go- the only meds I know that pack on this amount of weight are a minority of serious psych meds. They are typically used last because the obesity risk is so high, and so jazz may have gone through a number of medications before ending up on something that prevents sudoku but also has the side effect of appetite increase or intense craving.
My money is personally on this being a type of addictive behavior. The only way out of addiction is self awareness, its how anyone admits their behavior is a problem and feels motivated to change. Jazz's brain has been stunted chemically, and socially his mother modeled a severe lack of self awareness via narcissism. This kid has very little chance in light of that. This is the main reason my money is on HAES- it is the mirror of the pro-ana groups for anorexics, it is a whole group of people who tell you that your addiction is actually a good thing, and people who dislike your addiction are the bad ones. It is a siren song for people who want nothing more than to keep going with their behaviors.
The metabolic problems with PCOS are entirely due to excess testosterone in a female body. It is way below the level of testosterone that FTMs or juicing athletes use, but it still causes major problems in women (hypertension, diabetes, gaining weight in the abdomen primarily, etc). Many women are diagnosed with PCOS based only on irregular periods and increased testosterone in their blood tests. If a man had the testosterone levels women have with PCOS they would be considered below the healthy range for men.
While it is really depressing that so many kids got pediatrically transitioned, they are going to provide a lot of data on what exactly can change and what can't change based on genetics. There have been extremely unethical experiments of the past that were similar, they never should have happened, but have also assisted humanity in providing data that would otherwise be hard to come by. Usually you're supposed to do this type of shit to animals first.
Somewhere between too immature to attend college and too stupid to attend, really. Jazz has no interests outside of being a troon and gorging on food, and isn't socially sophisticated enough to bullshit people through a queer theory major, is not smart enough to pass the core classes at harvard. That's my guess, anyway.

Sadly, we won't even get good data. No one's keeping track of these kids. A terrifyingly high amount of transitioners are lost to follow up. The doctors and clinics failing to keep track of longer term results in patients was one of the reasons the Tavistock clinic in Britain lost its court case and can no longer trans children.
I feel like the doctors involved do it just for ego, and don't care about Jazz's health at all.
