More than who these kids were, because the idea that school kids can form a coherent ethos is retarded, I think the real question is to what extent. Was he really attacked so much that he mastered the legendary fighting style known as Street while non-diegetic You've Got the Touch plays, or did he just get into tussles with other kids like every other boy growing up and is using that as a disingenuous example of being bullied to strengthen his weak argument of someone else nuke 'em from orbit? I know which one I'm going with.
I debate whether or not he was really bullied. I used to believe maybe it was true and that his refusal to get over made him who he is today. But seeing how openly disingenuous he is over things that can literally be backed up by evidence from him, him constantly rewriting things, his playing victim no matter and just his general sociopathic behavior make it hard to believe his claims.
You know, 80 years ago today in fact, a very angry man sent a very angry army into a nation that, up to that point, gave him what he wanted and was even more eager to deepen the alliance made.
Not to mention that same angry man was such a sped convinced of his own infallibility he ignored all advice and made numerous mistakes, repeatedly, that cost him his empire. Sound familiar (apart from the empire part)?
He surely started every fight and got walloped unmercifully for his trouble. His version of events sounds like some Hollywood movir where the bullies just descend on a kid for no particular reason other than the plot needs it to happen. Shit doesn't happen like that in real life. The bullshit about his growth spurt isn't convincing either. It's also another indicator that he thinks he can be physically intimidating despite his assertions that the future should be led by those with brains and not brawn. I'd repeat that famous saying about the cake and eating it, but that wouldn't be appropriate because the lardass wouldn't see an issue with the statement. But if anything, these statements combined with others prove that he's lying about dropping his Magneto complex.
It's worth me pointing out that Bob was, by his own admission, a Randroid for a lot of his time at college.

Not really man, I'm younger than Robert, but not so much to see a whole different School system, and while bullying wasn't such a buzzword as it is now, figths and physical abuse were a big, BIG deal back then. I remeber when a kid got back home with a bleeding nose and all hell broke lose in the school, we spend weeks hearing about bullying and all that stuff, not to mention expulsions.
Which explains why Bob's worldview borders on the psychotic.
Hence Bob's obsession with the Superior Future™ to the exclusion to everything else.
As I said in my previous post, anger is all Bob has left because it's far too late for to change the course of his life. I suspect that many of Bob's "colleagues" see that same rage consuming him and distance themselves lest he pulls them into the conflagration. Lindsay Ellis shares some of the same politics and disdain for Red America, but she is shrewd enough see that being associated with Bob is a liability. That combined with his persistent creeping on her led to Lindsay dropping that nuke on Bob from orbit and handing him the biggest humiliation of his life. Yet the bigger tragedy of it is that Bob didn't learn a damn thing. A more well-adjusted person would turn to introspection and perhaps change their way. If anything, Bob has gotten worse with his genocidal rhetoric and I am convinced that his angels and the people that earnestly follow him are the dregs of society.
