It really highlights how awkward Clay is around other people in a non-scripted environment. Techno is just so much better at improvisation than he is in every way. The guy can just spool off dialogue without hesitation, and turn every random tangent into a serious analytical diatribe. Meanwhile Dream just stands there and mumbles occasionally, completely out of his depth. It's like watching Jeremy Irons desperately trying to get Ed Speleers to act in the awful Eragon movie adaptation. You have a guy who can take nothing and turn it into anything sitting next to a guy who needs three weeks and a succession of careful rehearsals to muster up the nerve to speak up for himself, and it's painful to endure.

Honestly, from most of his non-minecraft livestreams he seems to be pretty comfortable talking with others, even relative strangers. Hell, even in his pre-lore SMP streams, the dude was fairly chatty with the original 10 members.

Not to mention the moment where they broke character near the end and laughed at how Techno was dragging the stream on, it sounded like how Clay was talking for most of the stream was intention. Especially since Techno tells Clay to get back in character after that.

Hopefully people will actually abide by this, Ranboo has stated his boundaries multiple times and his fanbase just doesn’t care. Same with Wilbur to a certain extent.

I do believe that Dream actually blocking people may harden these boundaries further. And alienate all the weirdos.

But I’m being optimistic. Last time Dream blocked someone via a blockchain, he got shat on by Twitter. Clay, if you’re reading this, make sure to collect and archive all evidence before blocking.

Probably a wise move to put some things like this in an easy to share format. Previously when he disavows harassment or toxicity he'll do it in some easy to miss stream or another clumsy way.

Can't wait to see people get upset about there being a big box on racism and not LGBT (during pride month!) or ableism or god knows whatever else. Like I say, he's being slowwalked into dividing his fanbase.

He ought to create another graphic like this on how his fans should treat each other, or other fanbases, that'd be a step towards fixing the toxicity in his fandom culture, and not just how much of it is directed towards him.

I'm surprised by how reasonable some of these are, but it's too little, too late. Clayton has already allowed his fanbase to become a cesspool of tween toxicity and there's no undoing it.

The stans will just find ways to justify their actions (racism, ableism, homophobia ect, since they're the most heinous and unforgivable crimes!) and continue acting as they always have.

As we've already seen, it's going to take a lot more than a "haha guys don't send death threats it makes me look bad!" to stop the toxicity.

I can't imagine feeling the need to make a wall of text establishing boundaries while not realizing just how retarded and hated your fans are. This is, as usual, too soft to be effective. It leaves the "oops I didn't know teehee" excuse open and it makes sense stans wouldn't know since he didn't blast it to the problem areas so it may even be the truth.

Just say "Don't harass people and do NOT ship people who haven't explicitly said they're okay with it or you will be blocked!" If they can't understand what constitutes harassment then that's on them.
