I know McAfee made it abundantly clear that he would never ever kill himself and that the US would be the most likely suspect if he got suicided. But really what would they have to gain by killing him? To set an example to all those tax evaders that Uncle Sam can and will get you anywhere? Doesn't make sense. Especially when Epstein is still so fresh in everyones memory.
