Fuck Uber. It's a predatory, shitty company that "disrupted" previously well-paying jobs with health insurance for cab drivers while simultaneously breaking the law in virtually every city that tolerates their douchebag techbro "disrupt" shit. A lot of those taxi drivers were black, too, or as they like to say now, "B-B-B-Black."

Don't forget that big tech like Uber was instrumental in raping what was left of San Francisco real estate and rental, pricing black people out of the city. They even made a fucking movie about it. Now they have to commute 2 hours each way to serve coffee and sweep hallways in the Uber headquarters. At least they can call an Uber to take them there!

In many violent neighborhoods, not calling the cops has been enforced by the community for years. If gangs operate where you live, you will be brutalized for calling the cops. All white people refusing to call the cops does is make it easier for these communities to be preyed on with no one caring.
Re: The ACLU shirt, I'll let them have this one. It's a return to what the ACLU was actually created for, and the case law can be used whenever any student mouths off about their stupid liberal policies on Twitter or posts a country song lyric and gets suspended for being a racist or whatever.

No, that's the old definition of racism. They need to solidify racism to one identity group, so they can nicely pair it off with an activist sect. Make it real simple. Sexism = Women. Homophobia = Gay men. Racism + Jews = Antisemitism (Special Super Evil Racism) = Jews. Racism = Blacks.

Scrolling through the first few pages of this thread, it's disheartening how mainstream all this became in 7 years. Not much has actually changed in terms of the content, but what was once something to point and laugh at as some kooky fringe weirdness is now defining national conversations. It seems like the SJWs took the mockery of "they just say it online and don't actually do anything about it in real life" to heart and unfortunately started doing something about it in real life..
