No. There was not, to my recollection, any sort of confidentiality agreement in place for the mediation. Any confidentiality agreement would come at a successful conclusion, but it would be very unusual to put one in place. There is an expectation that parties will agree to maintain confidentiality during the mediation process, but if that process fails, there is nothing binding on them. These people are probably mixing up mediation with settlement negotiations.

The company he had an upcoming project with severed ties and tweeted that he would not be welcomed back until everyone was happy, which is never. They then directed their audience to the site that was created to cancel him.

Google (for me) gives generic IMDB and wiki sights with Twitter links as top 5. Video suggestions are all from pro-Vic channels. CBR article about the 'lawsuit failure' makes it in at #6 and the Gizmodo is at #7. Nothing else in the top 20 negative.

Man has some PR legs yet, and he could find work if people left him alone. His SEO is not consumed by the case any more, and it does not define him. If only *he* could realise that...

There's a presumption that mediation is confidential. Considering Ron Soye blew it within days, though, I wish anyone luck in claiming they were harmed as a result of Vic doing it over a year later. Also, all he disclosed was his own offer.
