Star Wars Griefing Thread (SPOILERS) - Safety off

If I had to guess, when they say "unaltered" clone what they mean is without any Kamino obedience programming/training/manipulation and no order 66 chip the dumbest fucking thing ever fuck you unoriginal Wolfaboo go destroy an IP that deserves it like Buffy.

But we of course know how this will turn out is TRANS RIGHTS ARE HUMAN RIGHTS, NOT PROVIDING FREE DICKCHOPS AND PRE-PUBESENT HORMONES IS LITERALLY THE SAME AS murder DEATHSTARING A WHOLE PLANET.

Though TBF, in a rare case of canon adherence, making it a tranny clone will address the problem of why its never seen in ANH joins the 41%

And this is another reason why I wish people would stop celebrating the actors and stopped pretending they're the characters they play.
Omega's special because she's an unaltered clone of Jango like Boba... Which is why she looks nothing like Jango Fett?

Omega escapes Cad's ship easy and Fennec Shand kicks Cad Bane's ass.

Not much to this episode really.
Wait what?! I remember someone earlier in this thread pointing out that the first episode made it clear she was special and that she was made with some heightened awareness or something. That and the fact that she's freaking female and blonde ("b-but Jango's mom was blonde!" lol fuck off with that). Seriously, how isn't that altered?!

Edit:
Even Wookieepedo says it right at the start:
Omega's insight. A state of heightened awareness is not unusual for an enhanced clone such as herself
Omega was an enhanced human female clone
Omega was an enhanced clone created from the genetic template of the Mandalorian bounty hunter Jango Fett.
Omega was an enhanced clone,[1] a pure replica of the original clone template Jango Fett,[3]
"Pure replica"? lol wut?
Omega's escape proved problematic for the Kaminoans, who desired access to her unaltered genetic template.[3]
Classic Wookieepedo.

Looks like the show's already starting to be inconsistent with itself too, just like Filoni Wars before it.

Double Edit:
Found a full critique of the episode with clips:
LMAO Filoni brought his fucking OC (Cad Bane) back to life but killed Taun We herself offscreen and even made her (the only "nice" Kaminoan) evil as a final 'fuck you' to boot lol. Yeah sure, Filoni totally cares about characters that aren't his own.
"Bane and Fennec CAN"T hit each other from a few feet of distance, is like a /tg/ session of bad rolls."
lel

So she's exactly the same as Boba despite that Boba is identical to his dad in every way? And these guys are just now finding out who their 'father/template' is?

Anyone know where the rebels kept copies of the death star plans? I suddenly feel the urge to build something totally unrelated.

I just watched that episode, and what I know is she is generation 1 like Boba, meaning no alterations like rapid growth, increased obedience, or anything of that sort. Aside from her simply having XX chromosomes, the rest of her DNA is pure unaltered Jango.

What I can guess from past stuff I've read, is why this is important. The Kaminoans only have so much DNA from the 'donation.' Once they tap that collected source dry, they'll have to collect a new sample, or they'll be forced into using and replicating DNA from the previous clone generations. Which is probably what has been happening since their original source died, and his DNA went with him to the grave.

What I think happens is that each reproduction very gradually 'degrades' the DNA, and this can create mutations. Sometimes this is beneficial (Bad Batch) but most other times... you get mentally unstable clones, clones that are 'imperfect' or have weaker constitutions, or even Clone 99 types. Eventually you have such degradation that you start getting clones that have lethal deformities and die young or even before 'birth.'

And the longer this goes on, the greater the chance of undesirable traits and mutations starts to become.

So not only is the DNA gradually degrading from each recycling, the clones have been altered. So if they want to keep quality up and minimize the 'duds' they will have to sooner or later obtain a new sample as close as possible to the original so they can keep production going.

Haha they didn't read what you read or care about any of the stuff they made already. In fact corporate hacks like to rely on fans intentionally filling the holes with their own brain thoughts to justify their shit product's existence. Why put effort into this when the stupids will for us and justify said consumption?

Good thing your fanbase proves how hard you can kick them in the face and still come back for more.
The sperg fest on this thread five pages ago is a testament to this.

Remarkable how those same voices have gone mysteriously silent in the wake of more retarded Bad Batch shit. Truly mysterious.

No see Wulfloni respects lore and the EU by making Boba turn out to be be trans. Just like he totally understood the origin story of the not-jedi from Space Aladin. Star Wars lore is in the good hands of a man who definitely didn't magic up a space-time anus to save his jailbait waifu the minute Lucas was out the door.

Aside from her simply having XX chromosomes

I.e. altered.

I'm going full autist here, boys, but to me 'simply having XX chromosomes' seems more significant than messing with a couple of 'obedience' genes. Where did they get the whole extra branch of DNA to frankenstein onto Jango's Y chromosome? Did they just snip it off the X chromosome from another of his cells? So she's got one chromosome that is at least 25% identical to the other. Does it strike anyone else that it could lead to some special sci fi version of inbreeding?

Current year, still ripping off the 90s.

"Completely unaltered except for the alterations we've made"

There's interesting places its possible to go with this - ala Liquid/Solid Snake and Big Boss, where you are constantly trying to even further refine your genetic template. But we know they won't go with any of these good or interesting ideas. Provided they even bother trying to address it, it'll be the dumbest shit possible when they do. I'm still banking on Omega just being the girl Jango/Boba always feel they were supposed to be inside.

Also, while as @Newman's Lovechild pointed out, Multiplicity level of "copy of a copy" isn't new to cloning, the Kaminoans are all clones. If they didn't know how to solve DNA degradation, they would be extinct and/or an entire planet of Hills Have Eyes.

And again, there are interesting and logical ways you could address this: they aren't familiar with human DNA, there was an unnoticed flaw in the base template, the original sample data was destroyed and needed to be regrown, etc. Hell, you could just the Kamino process requires you start with a few unaltered cells from a living being. You could even address why Omega is a real female, which is that maybe only half of the Jango Sample was degraded; only the X chromosome needs to be repaired.

But despite the fact it possible to do this in a way that isn't completely retarded, we know from experience that is not the way this is going go. It'll be the dumbest, most infuriating way possible and that in addition Filoni will go out of his way to include a few character and continuity raping cameos while fucking it up.

The only consolation we can take is that anyone who Disney would have given this over to who wasn't Wolfloni would do an even worse job.

Because it's Dave Filoni, I expect Boba Fett and Omega to meet at some point either in The Bad Batch or The Book of Boba Fett.

Although Omega will need to be recast if she appears in live-action.

Asian woman voicing a space Maori, no moral outrage over that I'm guessing.
They still haven't found a suitable replacement for Morrison.

They should just explain away the different voices as "decaying genetic source material" like they actually did in the EU as one of the reasons they switched to human recruitment and various other templates during the rise of the empire.

Filoni also hasnt touched on the late republic's favoritism of Spaarti cloning. Especially near the end of the war and in the time period BB takes place in. Though they did touch on the clone deserter hunting squads when crosshair showed up with black ops clones who had those green visors.

Based on some news and casting, he has three sidekicks/co-stars for now. The two pc youths and an old comic relief museum curator who I think is supposed to be a replacement/stand-in/knockoff for Sallah or Marcus Brody played by Toby Jones (Sallah's actor mentioned back in 2016 that he wanted to play Sallah again if a 5th movie ever came up).

Ford looks like he's falling apart like the Scarecrow. Still I find it ironic that Twitter and the film's director are going with this "ageism" tactic to try and defend Indy being the lead at his age (even though its an obvious fake out to kill him off to have him replace by the woke replacements), despite that many of the same people screeching ageism were proudly stating that no one wanted to watch a movie about geriatric SW characters no more than 2 and 3 years ago.
I can already tell what the opening of this movie will be:
Indy finds a lost artifact in the jungles of south america and takes it back to him to a museum in either the US or UK.
Then suddenly Two strong and empowered Black women of color show up and put the old cis white man that is Indy in his place.
"You evil CIS White old Man stole more of dat sheit form dem vulnerable indigenous POC?"
Geriatric Indiana jones is awstruck but such great and empwering black women of color and he can't seem to come to his senses exept to say one of his classic lines
"That belongs in a museum"
"How dare you you ebil NAZI COLONIZER! Dis is not your world anymore to take sheit from our kind!"
Indy is is left demoralized and jaded and can only say
"I used to punch the nazis back in the day and now I'm not sure if I'm any better then them now"
the museum curator trys to cheer up old man Indy but both know the world they once knew has long since passed and a new current year world is here.
Throughout the movie many jokes will be played at Indy and the old curator expense as the two has to adjust the current social-political climate of the present day.
I can't wait till the third act where we have to deal with Nasa, paperclip nazis, and some Transformers 3 or moonraker tier space plot. Like what the leaks suggests

seriously
No Spielberg, no Lucas
Director has a tantrum on twitter
Harrison Ford is 78 years old
Phoebe Waller-Bridge has her hands on the project
Kathleen Kenedy
The cast and crew as well as the only few story clues we have scream "we are going to put Indy in his place"
Who and I challenge anyone, who will want to watch this movie?

I doubt Filoni even knows about the Spaarti program, or even remembers it if he does know it. It and the Khommite aren't even part of Disney shit outside of a namedrop in a magazine from 2015 and Filoni even dumbed down the number of clones more than Stover and Traviss. That and the PT-era made little mention of them outside of one novel and a Force Unleashed book (and FU is more in-between OT and PT at that).

I think people shouldn't pretend that Filoni and his writers care about old stuff or are trying to be consistent with themselves at this point.
