If he faked it, he set up everything perfectly to do that. He released the source code of his current emu project right before the suicide Twitter thread, an emulator which conveniently wraps the functions of BSNES and HIGAN into one package, so if we see new advancements from it, it could be Byuu or easily some other autist. He said himself he's tried to erase his online presence over the last few years, so this could just be his final step before starting over.

Also I assume the people talking about his accounts going private were talking about the Higan Emulator account (no recent archives of it exist) or his alt account (though the latter has been private since at least December)

I'm surprised people even care about those ROMs. Simply put, the games weren't good -- nobody cared about them. Byuu's a fucking moron for even being afraid of releasing them in the first place, but so are the people who pretend to be interested in obscure Super Famicom games.

Kiwifarms shouldn't be blamed for how other furry trannies use public information. That's on them. Byuu should have surrounded himself with actually sane devs (as sane as emudev can get, anyway) instead of jumping on furry lovebombing cock.
