Jesus, 10-15 years ago I used to frequent forums where people had goatse as their signature, every link was a screamer or a pop up that shouted "I AM WATCHING GAY PORN" and the most annoying users would get their pictures plastered over the site. This site is tame in comparison.
KF is unironically the way the entire internet used to be 20 years ago. It’s a living fossil. The Twitterati see KF, and they’re not sure how to handle the Coelacanth swimming around in front of them. On some level, they are struck both with terror and awe.

Back in the early 00s, everyone on fandom-related forums called each other retard and dickhead, sometimes even as terms of endearment. They made entire threads dedicated to full-time sperging (a.k.a. Forum Game threads like “What does the poster above smell like?”). There was camaraderie and fellowship. Boards were more like families. Everyone knew each other. There was a kind of easygoing obscenity to everything.

Modern social media is structured to completely invert this paradigm. Twitter, Facebook, and Tumblr are all centered on one phenomenon only. Self-promotion. Everything about them is tailored towards self-promotion, in fact. You aren’t discussing topics with like-minded people in those places. You are pissing into the wind. The default way of posting in these places is to put something up on your “wall” and invite others to gawk at it. There is no real engagement, no entertainment of anything except the most superficial of ideas. Everything is completely dedicated to narcissism.

Modern social media represents the death of everything the internet once stood for. But here? Here, the internet is still alive.

As fun as looking at some of the twitter retardation shown here, I'm going to sleep until there's more news or something. I'm still on the belief that the dude is still alive. There's no body found or any orbituary right? And if I remember correctly, the person of interest lives in Japan. If he really an hero, there should have been a news about it, at the very minimum among the gaijin expats there
It would especially be of interest due to recent changes in regard to Japan's stance on cyber-bullying. If we made Japanese news, then you know shit's about to hit the fan.

Only fucking 13 page. If I killed myself over that, I would hope to become a laughing stock. How are you on the internet if you can't handle a very inactive thread in your name just existing?

100% just a ploy for attention. Can't wait to hear about how pissed the twitards will be when Near comes back all alive.
If he did kill himself, it was because he is such a desperate attention whore 13 pages could not fill the emptiness in his heart anus.

Don’t get mad at me, Twitter. I didn’t tell him to do it. FC8AE367-F7D0-41E5-98DE-35E44A775B8D.jpeg

This is the best writeup for how this website operates and why people today can't stand it. It will unironically be a sad day for the planet when you can't say nigger online freely
