REMINDER not only did Null outright treat him with respect but he even offered to look at his resume. He needed to consider the legality of everything going on and only shunned him after he became outright extortive with suicide threat. He never told him to kill himself nor did he encourage it or laugh about it in emails to him.

As for precedence, compare this exchange to another:
- NULL ONCE POSTED EMAILS OF A WOMAN WHO HAD A THREAD. SHE ASKED HIM IN THE EMAILS TO REMOVE HER THREAD, admitting how embarrassing and terrible she used to be, and how she just wanted to move on.
- NULL OPENED A POLL FOR THE KIWIS TO VOTE WHETHER TO KEEP IT OR REMOVE IT

That's one thing I can never really bring myself to "get" about the cows that really, really sperg the fuck out. Yes, we like laughing at the retarded antics of retarded people. But in my brief ~year on this site I don't think I've actually seen an instance where someone just up and said "'hey can you guys knock this off" in a reasonable manner and be greeted with some torrential downpour of increased harrassment of some shit.
