I must ask as a fan of emulations
who is this guy? I never heard of him OR even his emulators. like when you are looking for emu's you would see them but those names dont ring a bell

He created BSNES one of the first emulators to properly emulate the majority of the SNES library without the clock cycle and or register errors that where prominent in main line SNES emulation back in the day. The emulator is well over a decade old and came into prominence in the mid 2000's. Back in those days there where certain games that just performed like shit on emulators, like how certain titles with N64 or GC emulation where a few years back.

He developed a robust emulator that was one of the first to perform to the accuracy of mimicking the real hardware. Which replicating that subset of obscure assembly is quite a task, and you literally have to be super well antiquated with the CPU and other peripherals to mimick/translate that instruction set on modern hardware/anything beyond 6502.

BSNES was popular for a good amount of time, but since then better emulators have been adopted since they managed to surpass that emulator. On top of that, the GUI was not the most intuitive, but was a relic of early 2000's Nintendo emulation.
