To be entirely honest, I think Phil's Twitter quote is actually not only self-aware but also self-deprecating.

I know that'd be highly uncharacteristic but it is really hard to imagine that out of all the possible Twitter header possibilities in the universe, he just so happened to pick a self-quote made funny (Yes, I will go so far as to say that's funny) because it highlights that he is known as "the guy", a factoid brought up here many a time and that he definitely knows about.

Like, come on, tell me you would do anything different if you tried to make that exact same joke, it even has his name under it to make sure you know the person saying it is crucial to it. And hell, if you want to think Phil's too stupid for that (I don't blame you), just tell yourself someone else came up with the idea and told him.

Christ. The amount of stupid to unpack from a Phil quote is incredible:

Being an accident is irrelevant to the knowledge gained or the contribution the person or people involved.

A single moment doesn't define a person. It may cement that individual into history, but that doesn't define the individual.

For example: Being a fucking idiot and not checking to see if one's camera was off before masturbating in front of it is not a definition of the self.

Till this day it astounds me that Phil has the audacity call anyone an idiot when he chose to do some self loving 3 feet from his regularly on and directly connected to the internet camera pointed at him.

The incompetence of rolling out of bed (not jerk off there), walking upstairs past the bathroom (not jerk off there either) and START HIS STREAM just to show everybody why he's always late.

Phil's ego kicked in and pretty much ignored another Youtuber being in his chat. Phil HATES other Youtubers even though he doesn't know them at all. Just them being there is disrespectful because it takes attention away from Phil.

Phil was talking about he would use a wish to make all clothes tagless.... these exist by the way because I own them.... a girl tells him its a waste of time. Phil calls her an idiot.

why is the guy living paycheck to paycheck barely getting by complaining about the quality of stuff? he should be getting the cheapest shit he can get his hands on.

something else i forgot to mention earlier when he was nintendo, he said modern devs dont explain shit to you...when thats the complete opposite. new games handhold the shit out of players, while old games were hard because of how they would throw the player into a shit show without explaining much. Like what was this take?

That's not strange at all. Streaming himself jacking it is the only thing Phil will make self-deprecating jokes about. Look back at some of his Jackbox streams he used that joke multiple times because 1. He wanted to win and people would vote for it and 2. i'd go as far as saying he is actually proud of that moment. Trying to kid about his post nasal drip is making fun of him having a disability but he will use his "incident" as often as he can.

Lmfaooooooooo "my phone ruined my life" loool. And i'm all for taking stupid pictures but the fact that he made the penguin and is cheesing as a hard as a proud parent during a kindergarten graduation makes all the more autistic.
