I think you forget that there are a lot of truly bad people documented on kiwifarms, from simple grifters to actual sex offenders. I wouldn't say kiwifarms is noble, but it does hold shitty people accountable that would have otherwise gotten away with it by archiving. IMO that makes kiwifarms more valid than, for example, Reddits 'True Crime' subreddits and comparable Facebook groups that have literally driven people to suicide, and that dox and stalk. Nobody seems to have a problem with that because 'it's all in the name of justice'. (looking at you Websleuths, abbreviating people's names in a thread while doxxing and shittalking them in DMs is still bad, you boomer hypocrites).

It's not the content or the impact of having that specific thread why Josh kept it up. It's the principal of censoring free speech. You don't get to throw a big enough of a fit to force people to delete stuff you don't like.

Deleting mean words on the internet is for niggers and faggots and niggerfaggots.

Edit: even if free speech wasn't an issue, the guy was offering money and/or job opportunities for editorial privileges. Josh was 100% right to say he needed to get a lawyer involved at that point.
