Pinoy are natural born comedian for sure so it might not a total flop. Malay and Indo tried to take the “comedian” title from the Pinoy for years but still could not success.
The only problem of Philippine entertainment in general is their butts clenching internet “Peenoise pride” audiences that is so cringe that borderline legendary.
God forbid that HoloEN2 has a girl with some Philippine blood flows in her vein, the Holo world will know the cringefest of “Peenoise Pride” and the “Tangina mo Bobo/I love you” meme. If you guys want to see some example just look up some chat reaction when Haachama mention her travel to Philippine.

Sorry for doubleposting, but since the Farms are currently being DDoSed by troons I feel it's now relevant to ask where we'd go as backup if the Farms went down for an extended period of time. Is there another forum we could migrate to or something? I have faith that Deer Feeder will be able to keep everything online, but we should be prepared for the absolute worst-case scenario. My prediction: Dead in the water. Unless it's changed now, I don't think the anime fanbase in PH is as big, active and rabid as Indonesia is, let alone VTubing. Then again with the largest TV network there being off air and everybody flocking to the Internet for entertainment, more so during the lockdowns, it might be worth a shot for them.

Agree with this assessment. It's going to get worse once VTubing goes big and breaches containment on Facebook. So yeah, I'd say Hololive, or any VTuber really should tread carefully with this.

Depends a lot on their local public, any entrepreneur needs to know if there actually is a demand for his product/service before putting any money in it. I'm assuming we're talking about someone who actually knows what they're doing, of course. Still, a ton of people thought HoloEN was going to be a failure, so maybe this one might work out.
