Karl wants to be “welcoming” to non-traditional gun enthusiasts. I get that and also approve. But he should also be making it clear to these individuals that the officials *they* helped to elect with their votes are the ones leading the charge to eviscerate their 2A rights.
It would be one thing if he was just educating basic bitch liberals who don't know jack about firearms and pointing out that usually pro gun control politicians also don't know jack about firearms themselves and getting these types of people to at least adopt a pragmatic view on these issues. However buddying up with Tactical Troon and those retards in the SRA is an entirely different matter. This community DOES NOT need to be flooded with those types of people.

Watch troons try to get over the gun space like they do with every community they infiltrate like a virus.

Well I’m willing to overlook Karl’s usual shenanigans due to him recently speaking out and strongly condemning the Biden administration’s multi-tiered assault on gun rights.
Oh wait…..no he didn’t. The only politics he’s willing to wade into are various social justice causes. While saying nothing about the omnipresent threat to a right he claims to care about. At least Ian doesn’t delve into politics *period*.

But he should also be making it clear to these individuals that the officials *they* helped to elect with their votes are the ones leading the charge to eviscerate their 2A rights. But he doesn’t want to risk “triggering” his new fan base with “right wing” talking points. So he says nothing on the current *clear and present threats* to gun rights and instead uses his platform purely to play culture warrior.

Either do both, or neither, Karl.

There are straight-up worthless shill gun channels out there coming out stronger against the ATF proposals, Biden’s nonsense etc than Karl is.
I wouldn't put it past Karl to be one of those far left types that think they'll be a privileged member of a commie government that will be allowed unrestricted gun rights as enforcers are some other lefty fantasy nonsense. Leftist gun owners are not pro gun rights. There isn't a single left leaning politician that these faggots support in any political office. For all their claims of being "pro gun rights because messiah Marx quote" none of them abstain from voting democrat. They don't see the value in collecting guns for history or mechanical interests. Personally owned firearms just tools that can be used to achieve their goals by force then disposed of for issued equipment by their benefactors, like a irregular militia being absorbed by a state into the military (similar to when the Viet Cong was rolled into the Vietnamese army and their personal weapons and equipment were turned in to the state for storage or disposal) .

TL;DR

There is no benefit to the gun community in welcoming leftist troons.

Well, Brownells is selling the stripped KP-15 lower on clearance/sale for $99. The completed lowers for $179-199. Seems that they are trying to offload the excess now that the fanboys/early adopter sales have petered out.
I wonder how much overstock they ended up with. I'm sure they expected Ian's videos and association with the product to get the damn things flying off the shelves. Maybe they didn't account for the people who watched the original iteration of the project and assembled their own guns back then?

Maybe people are slightly smarter than I hoped.

I mean, if it was a regular functional lower I might just grab it but fuckkkkk. I'm not getting a WWSD

AFAIK it was always $99 for the stripped lower - where did you see it listed as clearance?

Either they raised the price and added a discount or you may have misremembered. Both black and FDE have been dropped $10 apparently.
what an amazing deal.png

Oh, dear. I wonder if they're pulling a Gaijin and raising prices just before a "sale". That would be a really scummy move.

Do we have a price history on these things?

ETA: yes, we do. These lowers were going for $110 back in February. So this looks like a legit discount.

It's a common retail thing all over, and I wouldn't be surprised. Make people think they're getting a deal while moving stock that isn't selling as well as hoped during a time where it's in demand.

Not that I know of, unless there were waybackmachine or achives of the page from beforehand. Or even discussion of the price point from before.

Speaking of peeked a few pages back is nutnfancy still online he needs a thread as a cow
He's definitely got the most potential of all guntubers of being a lolcow(minus FPSRussia but he's given up at this point) due to his outrageous sperging, be it railing on companies that don't care about him or the sheepdawg mentality that he championed for so long. Oh, and his obsession with ounces.

Nutnfancy's channel is a time capsule for Obama-era gun culture. I will give him credit for autistic larping in the Utah desert as opposed to magdumping into silhouette targets from 3 yards away. His awful review on the Arsenal SAM7 is truly something to behold, especially considering he heaped tons of praise on subpar builders like Century Arms and Riley Defense.

I'm not watching 45 minutes of pure, undistilled autism.... But does he really think the SAM7 is a bad rifle? That thing is one of the best AKs ever imported and that we can still get our hands on in current year import market.

Because it's milled and therefore too heavy for a sheepdawg in tactical operations operating operationally. This is the same man who has a converted Saiga that he runs without a cleaning rod to reduce weight and, in his own words, "improve barrel harmonics."
The funniest nutn video is still the one where he "runs" a mile in rifle plates. It's nonstop comedy.
