Its seriously like that stupid fucking 13 reasons why show that came out a few years ago. Some people I know who are in counseling jobs said that show straight up had kids they were treating thinking that killing themselves would be a good way to get back at people they felt had hurt them or cause those people to have fucked up lives. Factor in the level of mental illness that you see in your average hormonally confused tranny and you're dealing with someone on the emotional level of an adolescent, who stays on that level for life or until they stop poisoning their own body chemistry.
What's worse is that most public internet suicide attempts nowadays try to copycat Etika's in some form, and it's really fucking disgusting. They think it's the easiest form of guilting someone they dislike and getting everyone's eyes on them one last time.
First they start by spilling their guts out publicly in some manifesto and naming names, causing a social media commotion by going missing with their friends or followers trying to contact them desperately. Then they go radio silent for a few hours or days, and then usually finally come back and say "guys I totally tried to kill myself but luckily I failed and got immediately discharged from the hospital".
It's suicide baiting in its most literal definition, they cast a lure into the waters of social media with some cryptic message like "I'm going to go to sleep forever" or "Nobody will miss me when I'm gone", disappear, garner a shitload of asskissing messages towards them and hate towards their opponents or critics, and then they finally come back with the new paradigm being that nobody can mention the shitty things they did before ever again otherwise they're a danger to their mental health.
Twitter enables this shit by its culture of trying to come off as the most moral of all, with people trying to one-up each other on writing supportive messages to people clearly bullshitting.
Except in Etika's case, it was real and his friends stopped him twice before they were too late and Etika had actually done the deed and posted his videos posthumously through scheduling. And Etika didn't blame anybody. He didn't use it was a way to get revenge on anybody, he was depressed about his real life and burnt out by his happy-go-lucky social media personality.
Everyone who's tried to copy him, like Hyojin, SucculentBud, Puppychan, Ditzyflama, etc etc
etc all tried to use this as a way to get back at people as well as receive massive waves of support from the masses at large.
In Byuu's case, the new paradigm is that the "Byuu" name is supposedly dead, and some other name is going to take over the management of Bsnes and his N64 projects overnight when the heat dies down. He's probably fapping to cubs and shota as he reads this thread while everyone on Twitter is crying about his "loss".
