If you aren't insured, yes. But there's a deeper thing here. I'm new to Brittany but the most common people to visit the hospital (emergency room) in the US are people with no healthcare or poor decision making skills. Going to the ER is easily almost a grand guaranteed. It is not visiting your primary care physician, it's using an emergency room that won't turn you away for piddly shit you can get taken care of at your corner pharmacy. They also get charity care often, which means there's a possibility they won't see any bill.

So the way the healthcare industry works, but isn't talked about often enough, is pretty bad. How it ends up working out for the average joe too poor, is fine. It's dudes like you and I who are for one reason or another without insurance, and when handed a bill assume that's what you owe, it is non-negotiable. This isn't the case. I was never the dude in the ER for nothing, but I had to go a few times before I could afford insurance. The first time I just paid the bill grumbling about the same bits as you, rightly so. The next time I knew the system and offered to pay half in installments and they readily accepted. They expect to get *nothing* back from the uninsured. The rates are high because they're designed around making the money they need to stay open and conduct business entirely from insurance companies paying out for their customers. So a stupidly lesser known fact is, they don't expect you to pay anything but you can negotiate pretty much whatever you want and they tend to agree with it for the sake of collecting what they can from a lost cause.

But in the end you are correct, the system is borked at every level and a big part of it is the middleman of insurance. Did you know that even our public insurance through the government for the poor and elderly is farmed out to a regular ass insurance company on a state by state basis? Brittany is pretty retarded though if this is why she's supporting single payer/Universal Healthcare, not because it's a bad thing but because everyone in the US should have insurance now since the government is subsidizing it since Obama was president. Those who do not have it are in the same pool as DSP mentally.

Agreed, but I think it's too late now. Her audience has shifted throughout the years. I get the impression that some of them expect her to keep doing political/societal takes now and are somewhat baffled by her pre-2017 Venti-character. She should have been more consistent throughout her entire streaming career.

The mispronouncing seems to be the only "trolling" aspect she brought back. Instead of a completely fake character like in the olden days, this current version seems more like a just slightly exaggerated version of the real Venti.

Ever since she came back from Jessix' wedding, broken-record-Brittany has turned her man-hating rants to 11 and merely uses the bimbo-character in her Youtube/TikTok videos to hide behind. She's been ranting for more than a week straight now. Meanwhile when being herself her Twitter timeline looks like this:

I hate to be the one to defend Brittany here but hear me out

I think she has potential. And I’m someone who is way out of her league. Every department: looks, intelligence, income. The whole nine.

Her biggest problem is the man-hating aspect. She seems to just be flipping the joke of men hating women 180 degrees. That’s fine for a persona. But I know something about managing online personas. The more attention it gets, the more you have to become the persona. Soon, it crowds out the rest of you. An old 4chan post sheds light on this, when the /b/ user calls his mother a nigger. It’s funny because it could be true.

So it seems to me that Brittany as a person has been overshadowed by internet Brittany. In and of itself, it’s the duality of woman in the modern age. The internet has only amplified that. The facade a person would put forward irl (being on your game) is mostly influenced by the persona you made successful.

Its a trap. It’s not easily avoided either. And once inside that vicious circle, every action is illogical and seeks to preserve the current state of the ridiculous.

The best bet for Brittany is actually stop being internet Brittany for a day - or at least tone it down. Only then will she have a chance to connect with someone who will think she’s cool and also wants to juggle her melons.

In regards to the Brittany I see publicly, this is an easy catch if I just want to knock her around and then change my number. So she needs to avoid that fate. And to do it she must let real Brittany defeat internet Brittany.

If nothing changes and she keeps always putting all the blame on the men she chose to date not meeting her standards instead of at least looking at herself and maybe even trying to better herself (as a person, not superficially, but she won't because she's a narcissist) I'd be willing to bet all of her relationships are going to continue lasting two years and ending because of her inability to see that she might have some faults too that are driving men away until she turns 30 before she even realizes and still is unmarried
