The narrative in the family has always been that not transitioning will cause suicide, and so jazz's transition was the most important concern. Jazz always had regular medical appointments, and then a bunch of time spent spoiling him to try and make up for a life full of doctors appointments. It would be similar to what siblings of disabled children go through. The healthy siblings are always a secondary concern because the life or quality of life of the disabled child is at stake. Siblings have to carry some of the burden of caring for their sibling, it is inevitable even if parents try really hard to avoid it. The healthy siblings have anxiety about the disabled sibling dying. Many struggle with feelings of jealousy and then guilt for the difference in care they receive from parents. It is incredibly stressful, if i recall correctly having a sibling with a health problem is on surveys about adverse childhood events, it is on there along with things like being sexually abused or witnessing murder. It is a known stressor. Having a sick sibling isn't less stressful if it is caused by munchausen's by proxy or otherwise artifically induced.

I mean, they all been knew. I think a public statement just had to be made since they're beginning to promote a new season and Jazz is going to be trotted out for said promotions. The shows PR gremlins prob just wanted to get ahead of all the "lolfat" comments by having him oficially declare "YES, I AM FAT". He's openly had issues with binge eating and weight in the past (on the show) so it's not entirely out of left field.

My guess is the boy just struggles to give a fuck and his darling Smother can only do so much to stop his hoovering. Honestly, he still might not really care about being fat and is just going along with the epic weightloss arc for the show.

Ah ok. I've never watched the show (don't even know if it's broadcast in the UK, I don't watch tv in general) so all I know really is what I read in this thread.

tbh the only reason I've heard the name is yaniv seems to have the hots for jennings so looked him up, then found this thread.

Sigh. I tried to read the Youtube comments, hoping to see at least a single one agreeing that this whole situation is an obvious case of a parent instilling her backward, delusional fantasy on a fucking 3 year old. No chance.

Some people try to claim, "oh, that's just a tiny minority" who thinks a literal toddler even understands what gender is, but I question it more and more now. Hopefully it's still the case. Maybe TLC just deleted the "transphobic" comments, I don't know.

Ari is going to med school in Arkansas in the fall. She’s probably at home for the summer since it doesn’t make any sense to get her own place for the few remaining months. I imagine Griffen’s situation is the same but he probably has some sort of summer internship for law school. Those two will likely never be returning to the Bloshinsky household after this summer hence all the family time.
