The VTuber's name is Lily Hopkins.

Watched her for ages, she used to be called Sleepylemonbug on Twitch, and something before that I can't remember. She used to use this free Live2D model before getting her own (I think her mod goki_dev made her current model, if I recall correctly.) She's one of the few EN indies that seems to consistently have a general on /vt/ too.

There must be some kind of based requirement before you can become a rabbit vtuber.

She's from a really small town (300 to 400 people), which explains why she is such a bookworm, she didnt have anything else to do.

I don't know if anyone cares or if it's already known, but I noticed that Ame's spanish omits the letter "s" a lot. For example instead of "gracias" she says "gracia". Don't know if that's just her or if it's learned. All I can say is that her spanish is not from tacoland or the motherland; I don't know how to identify all the other spic accents. According to this random internet user it could be from Cuba, Venezuela (can you verify cubanodon?), or a bunch of other places.

50% correct, only people with heavy accents would do it, here in Venezuela that only happen in the west part of the country and some part of the east where the accent gets more heavier with a mix of Colombian, but Ame is not a native speaker so is probably she dont knowing exactly how to pronounce it correctly, Cubans are mostly the same except that they trend to speak faster, pretty normal in the caribbean islands

I recognized Lilyhops solely due to the fact she was brought up a lot on /wvt/ (back when it was located in /trash/) along side the likes of Koopa, Rose, Nina, etc... Never really gave her a watch but she seems cute.

Honestly these Phase Connect girls all seem pretty neat and its hard to choose a favorite. I like Uruka and Iori the most so far, Pippa's great because she's got shitposter energy. I'll probably watch more Maemi if she decides to commit career suicide and stream The Binding of Isaac eventually.

Note this is nothing more than speculation on my part: it would make sense that Hololive/Cover would acquire the underlying IP during the initial hiring. Otherwise it becomes difficult to sort out when you have people commissioned by Hololive modifying the models/characters. That's one of the biggest draws to work with them. Hololive also has all the leverage to just not hire someone that demands they retain IP. It's the natural course of action for a business with a strategy like Hololive has.

I dont know where people are getting the idea that cover is some monolithic powerful company, especially back then.
They were nobodies with no money and no fame, why would she sign over the rights to her own character design, model and rig to be part of a nobody company? What leverage do you think they had when Suisei joined?
I'm sure they have those rights over later characters but it's very questionable for Suisei and I know for a fact they dont own Roboco's design, the original designer still owns the character, not cover OR roboco

Cover certainly more powerful than Suisei even back then. They even rejected her. Suisei was nobody compared to Hololive at that time.
