And yea, they all seem to gravitate toward DBZ and DBS

I wanna give my cultural perspective. In France you would be surprised to know that a huge number of arabs are into DBZ. Most guys using avatars of DBZ characters on the internet in France are arabs.

Those guys have a really stupid obsession: they think goku and vegeta are muslim and come from Algeria.

Most of this started with a webcomic but now there ton of fan art of DBZ character doing arab things. And in google .fr is you search : Is Vegeta....
The first suggestion is :Is vegeta from Algeria?

A journo even asked DBZ super's illlustrator if Vegata was from a Algeria.

Toyataro next had to answer a unexpected questio: In France a lot of people think Vegeta is Algerian. What do you think about it? This is mostly due to his pride. Toyataro said: Obviously I am very happy people love the character. I have also a mental image of Vegeta being very pridefull and I try to make him stay away from comi relief roles

I liked DBZ as a kid, but as soon as I got into more mature animes like Cowboy Bebop I dropped DBZ and have never looked back since.

For me it's kind of odd for an adult to still watch something like DBZ when there's more mature franchises like Berserk, you just get so much more out of animes aimed at older audiences imo, even if it's not necessarily more thought provoking content, but simply more sexual content or grittier violence, that it's just kind off odd to me to think of someone above a certain age watching anime aimed at kids.

That reminds me of a meme I saw when Goku and Vegeta have beards and it has a news headline saying that they joined ISIS, it's a shame I don't have it on my phone anymore.

I assume it's this pic. French arabs took this as a confirmation Vegeta and Goku were good muslims.

But this pic unconfirms the whole theory.

I've seen this in the wild - where the upper ranks decided to keep them calm that we had a dbz game set up on a projector for our black coworkers to play. It was a interesting Wednesday and I heard many a thing that I still don't know what backassward language they were speaking with, but I never want to hear about their OC's again. You can't even drive with your revoked license and you're barely making minimum wage, you ain't going to be 'getting those bitches'.

Brandon/Konosuke looks like a bitch though out of the ones you listed - I'm going to pretend I didn't read about the white dude.

Just want to point out it's retarded to think more sex and violence makes something mature. Sort of ironic actually.

Also there's still lots of people, mostly boomers but some millennials too, who think adults watching any anime is odd. To them it's all just cartoons

It always amazes me how many black anime nerds there are out there.

Well he IS listening to the Bruce Falconer (aka American) soundtrack which leads me to believe that it is indeed a joke as no self respecting weeb would admit to listening to the non Japanese music.
The American soundtrack is pure synthrock cheese but so listenable

I wasn't saying it necessarily made it more mature, I was just saying more sex and violence makes it more entertaining, to where I don't really get why an adult would bother with something that's more toned down, as soon as I learned there was sexier and edgier anime than DBZ, DBZ just seemed boring to me, like why waste your time?

On a side note, I'm of the opinions that's there's anime fans and there's shonen fans, you know what I mean? We're talking basically two entirely different fandoms, there is some overlap of course, but fundamentally it's two different things, it's much like the schism in video games where you have gamers who are only really interested in online multiplayer games and those that lean more towards single players games and I think the fact that it reminds me of that is no coincidence, we're basically talking about variety versus familiarity, for people who want entertainment they either want something they can watch or play for years or they get bored too easily with that and want a lot of variety, which is the case for me personally.

I wish these fuckers would take the central lesson of Dragon Ball's protagonist to heart:
When you get your shit pushed in, you don't whine, you don't cry on the internet, you take the L and you go and train hard and avoid making the same mistake that made you get smacked last time. These people should have fucking push-up/pull-up contests instead of slapfights on twitter.

Great read, very enjoyable OP.

Thank you. You'd think folks watching a 'beat your face in' style anime would be able to not act like a pussy on the internet, but these guys are some of the worse. It's cringe, but it's also entertaining. I'm hoping this thread gets moved sooner than later, because these guys have had some of the best meltdowns to my posts. Like Brandon here, who made over a dozen tweets after I did a rather tame dox on his ass (The fourth and final person listed in OP).

After over two dozen tweets, which consists of how 'not mad' he is, half of which are videos, and of course a tweet low key threatening me with legal action, he has now put my name and the farms in his twitter profile. Now, let's take a brief look at one of his followers and what it lead me to. Like little Kaleb here, young guy.
Kaleb Twitter Main.PNG

Here he is, replying to a fellow sped about their OC 'killing' or beating up Perfection, Xavier Pace's character from the OP I made. This guy hasn't been on Twitter in a while and they're still obsessing over him. Just know if you're going to mock them from here like me, these faggots may never, ever let it go.
Terrible Larping.PNG

Kaleb didn't kill Paragon because of the Coronoa. This is riveting, hot writing. I mean, look at this intense picture. This is the face of a genius author in the making.

(I don't know if this is actually him but I'm assuming it is)

Oh, and the diaper fag from the OP made an appearance as I was taking a look at Twitter over this shit. It appears he commissioned more art of his diaper furry blind dragon ball jedi thing taking out the big bad evil Lord Perfection. You can't make this shit up.

Dragon Ball fans are a whole fucking beast of their own. They make their whole persona based around this shit and a bunch of them go into weirdly obsessive territory as you've already shown in the first post of this thread. In a way it does kind of make sense though since you'd have to be a very special kind of sped to still be able to watch DBZ as an adult, considering how dragged out everything is and how it just devolves into screaming for multiple episodes in a row where nothing happens. I tried watching it years ago and couldn't make it past the Frieza shit.

Also this particular video is confirmed to have been a joke as far as I know, but the fact that a bunch of people believed it to be serious should tell you everything you need to know about what kind of content these people watch and make.

So I love dragon ball and have since I was a kid, it's light hearted stupid fun that doesn't rely on sex and shit to sell, but I'm inclined to agree that the DB fandom can be one of the worst, on par with harry potter or star wars fans easily. Should be interesting. I do find it hilarious that weeb shit and specifically dragon ball seems to be one of the most significant unifiers of white rednecks and ghetto blacks, like pottery

To think that dragon ball began as a light hearted kung-fu series that eventualy became space monkeys beating up space white tyrants.
The only way I can enjoy it these days if it's super abridged like with Kai or taking the piss out of it like with dragon ball abridged.
