Well for me I've never had a problem with freaks. We are who we are, and they have their fetish and problems in life...so perhaps he is an idol of some sorts - a representation or avatar of their nature, thus the need to defend him. I think they likely feel they will be targeted for their nature and thus defend him as a vestige of their nature. I don't think reprisals from Byuu factors in.

But a coward is a coward is a coward and while we can have our interests, beliefs and disagreements, I've yet to find a single human being that has admiration for one trait - cowardice. And we need to show what a coward Byuu actually is, because of all human traits, I find it loathsome and without any merit or value. To have fear is is to be human - but surely cowardice is a choice - and Byuu makes this choice to be a coward every day.

Bodies start to decay almost immediately but at first after death the smell is like a sickly sweet aroma. After about 3 days has been my personal experience as to when it goes from "unpleasant" to "I am going to vomit if I don't get some vapor rub now". Anything longer than a week and you start to have plenty of insect infestation from flies and their maggots etc, mold, rot etc. This process does slow down in freezing temps but japanland is in summer too iirc. Plus from what I know of tokyo the architecture varies wildly from the us but a its a very densely packed city so I can't imagine he'd be far from anyone that would notice the stench of rotting corpse after a week.

They would probably have started to be bothered by it already. The nippons is incredibly hot and humid during the summer which would have sped the proccess up.
