It’s quite entertaining watching her smoke or vape, since she’s apparently been doing it for years but still doesn’t know how to inhale. She fills her mouth with as much smoke/vape as she can, holds it in as long as she can and then opens her mouth and sputters, usually ends up having a coughing fit. All you have to do to know that Chantal is still using is look at her traditional food cycle. And what is she doing now in the context of drugs? Exactly what she does when she knows she's deep in the binging and doesn't want to stop. She's so transparent it's painful. You were hyper as fuck, saying you weren't hungry, forgetting timelines and blowing your nose (and I noticed she lifted her nose up and checked it right after)... it was obvious, sis!

I don't like being told I can't do something, especially something physical. Comments like these generally strengthen my resolve to accomplish something or get something done. Sometimes it takes a lot of creativity, but in the end, I find a way, because I don't ever want to feel incapable.
Chins, on the other hand, actively chooses to do things because people tell her she can't, or shouldn't. But her problem is that she's astonishingly overweight. Doing anything physical is challenging for her.
So rather than improve her health so she can do those things, like a normal person might, she's learned to target certain individuals who are easy to manipulate, and she somehow gets them to do those things for her. I think this is why Nader frustrates her so much, because he didn't fall under her spell the way she expected he would. I genuinely think she isn't used to being rejected, because she is very careful about who she targets.
This seems really obvious, and maybe it is. But, I've always thought she was fat because she's a lazy, manipulative narcissist. Now I'm wondering if she isn't manipulative because she's fat and lazy.
Needs must and all that. You've got to be an extremely adept manipulator to convince someone to pack your open wounds and dash into your room in the middle of the night to save you from a mosquito.
The better she gets at manipulation, the less she has to do for herself, and the less agency she has in her own life. Her ODD means she'll insist on doing things her way, but she has so little practice doing anything for herself that even if she wanted to and genuinely tried, she couldn't.

One of the only friends Chantal has that she hasn't doxed is the unnamed person she went to the casino with in Feb 2020. Coincidently, she smoked a pack of cigarettes in a single day on that last casino trip. I don't remember if she mentioned Vietnamese food, but only went through a couple of pages of the thread to find out the date she went last - there is probably more information if you read around page 1836. People assumed it was Shannon or completely made up, but I think it might have actually happened. I believe the person lives near the US border.
