I have hella issues and something I've found over the years is traditionally "masculine" men are less scary than soyboys or trannies. The first group has their own host of issues but unless you're involved with an actually abusive person which is a different class in and of itself they tend to have some awareness that they may scare a woman and will actually recognize that in their behavior.

Soyboys are like those weird spiders that pretend to be ants so that they can close to ants and eat them. Trannies are the same way. That behavior is far more sinister to my paranoid brain and sets off danger in a more extreme way than some dudebro who likes to lift.

EDIT: I put masculine in quotes because its a weird thing to define and thats just the easiest word for it.

Legit. The worst thing that can happen is there is already a man in the men's room who is as creepy as the trans woman in the women's room. But any neuro-typical guy is going to feel too much shame and fear to do anything other than take care of his business and leave quickly, and any predatory type guy in the men's isn't going to be able to think on his feet as fast as the troon whose life exists to premeditate reasons to go into the women's bathroom.

anecdote: I went somewhere once where both bathrooms were stall-based. and had their Women's/Men's logos replaced with "Gender Neutral." I marched into one and there was a guy at the sink, and when he saw who had come in it looked like I had psychically rapped him on the back of the head. I felt bad, like he's not doing anything wrong and it's not his fault the retards who set up the bathroom forced him to feel like a creep.
That being said if I had seen that there was a trans woman in the other room, knowing that the trans woman would see me come in and go "Good, Yes, This Bathroom Where I Am Is Where You Should Pee, Female," is worse and I'd opt to go into the room where both me and the male wishes the other wasn't there.
