Pretty much: the biggest argument is just "hurr durr KF killed another tranny". Even if they used whatever chemically rotten braincells still remaining in their skull cavity to realise "hey Byuu tried to extort Josh, Byuu is the bad guy in this scenario" they'll just 180° back to "BUT LOOK IF THEY DIDN'T LITERALLY DOX HIS CAT" and continue saying we're 41% more evil than the child grooming men in dresses trying to creep on women pissing.

First of all, twitter troons are not "people".

Secondly, this is what I like to call "pathological empathy", when you're so empathetic you will allow yourself to be abused/allow the abuse of others because you want to be "nice". Threatening suicide is abuser behavior, and I've known many a woman who has done this to get their way.

It doesn't matter if the threat was real or not, it's still abusive.

(But Near didn't commit Byuuicide anyway)

IIRC, using any warp zones will lock out World 9.* You'll go straight from World 8 to World A. So if you're a completionist .... time to start over, I guess.

* Just checked, you have to complete all 32 regular levels, which means if you warp forward you have to warp back to do the ones you missed.

That is the place I was talking about. You might have been able to help by paying attention in the first place. You didn't. You missed it. Not even having a go at you, because thread was moving so fast, and no one wanted to put in any leg work.

You will need to register on that site and go through thousands of Near's posts where he gets deep and I mean deep in to reverse engineering. Even most computer programmers will not be able to follow it. Near was another class of mutant.

The low-level emulation (LLE) approach is to treat the DSP just like a regular processor: execute each and every instruction, one at a time. Games no longer run faster than they really should, and the edge cases all work correctly. But this is immensely more demanding. Whereas Super Mario Kart runs just as fast with HLE as Super Mario World, a game with no coprocessor, it runs 25-30 percent slower when emulated with LLE. The Cx4 chip used in the latter Mega Man X games is so powerful that it can literally cut performance in half with LLE. DSPs are in fact very powerful, typically running at 21 MIPS or more, even back in the SNES days.


LLE is also a very expensive operation, monetarily speaking: to obtain the DSP program code requires melting the integrated circuit with nitric acid, scanning in the surface of a chip with an electron microscope, and then either staining and manually reading out or physically altering and monitoring the traces to extract the program and data ROMs. This kind of work can cost up to millions of dollars to have done professionally, depending upon the chip's complexity, due to the extremely specialized knowledge and equipment involved. Thanks to the efforts of an individual who goes by the name "Dr. Decapitator," we've been able to extract this data from nearly a dozen chips for just the cost of materials.

It's highly doubtful that even going through these thousands of pages (Near had a 1500 page post count at the link I just gave above, it might be more) anyone will find information about Near regarding personal stuff. He was like most reverse engineers: very shady about PL'ing because he knew it was a dirty and very grey area of tech. Every single company on the planet does it. Not a single one admits to it. Yet, ooh look, another one of them things that looks like the other, but just 20 bucks cheaper, know which one I am gonna buy...

Near is still alive. He's working for a major corporation. He's so in demand he's being head-hunted to work for even bigger corps. This is why he took the desperate steps he did. He wasn't in emotional turmoil. It was a cold calculated gambit that didn't quite pay off.

And yeah if you wanna see World 9 in all it's weirdness you can't skip levels, Least you don't have to beat the game 9 times or whatever to unlock Worlds A-D like in the Famicon version.

I'm guessing that they're claiming the office people went to his house, got no answer so got the rozzers to kick the door in like they're LARPing Seige.

What actually happens, from experience, is if you go to someone's house and you're concerned about their safety, you go to the local police box, get one of the police to come with you to the landlord's place or the real-estate company that is in charge of the house/apartment to get a key, and they open the door and the police go inside to check.

They don't smash the door in "FBI, OPEN UP!" style. Only maybe if it was his own house. Like literally owned by him, not rented, then they might kick the door in. But, that faggot troon didn't buy his own house.

I ended up beating the game the first time with

Crono, Marle, and Magus. But I made damn sure Ayla was used during the Black Omen because she’s godly. Magus doesn’t even have double techs, regret using him
