There is a lot of automatic equipment in farming called robots, because they do the job of a person. Designing one would seem like some serious engineering work, and it would need to fill a market. A farming robot is such a wide concept that there is no way to tell what the guy is trying to build.

Like this milking robot, which a cow can walk into and the robot milks it.

Or this one that pushes up feed.

Some of them are useful, some are to much trouble, some don't scale well. People argue back and forth about them, that you replace employment cost with maintenance cost, and you can guarantee whatever software they use is a bullshit subscription service.
