Somewhat unrelated, but I was having some Mutahar videos play in the background and holy shit, wtf is it with Youtube that brings out the lowlifes? He was talking about some washed up youtuber that made a video:

Sound familiar? This worthless beggar Phil-way-of-life is just becoming widespread on the cancer that is Twitch and Youtube.

That could apply to hundreds if not thousands of youtubers who were popular in the early 10s. The difference between them and Phil is that Phil somehow still makes a living at making those shitty videos.

This marathon poll really shows what Phil would spend all his time playing if he could get away with it: old JRPGs where you can’t really lose. This is what happens when your streams are carried on the backs of a few whales. They miss a few payments and you enter panic mode because none of your regulars are contributing anymore. And like every aspect of his job, Phil fundamentally misunderstands the point of marathon streams.

A marathon stream ideally has you playing a game you can actuslly finish within the designated time and ideally something challenging that you wouldn't ordinarily play. Phil chooses 3 RPGs and all games he's already played or is currently playing and, as demonstrated in previous marathon streams, after pre-stream and breaks, he usually ends up actually playing LESS than he would in an ordinary stream. This guy's incompetence knows no limits.

It's a marathon stream. The entire point is you play a game for longer than usual without a break. But if you suggest that, Phil will REE and cry he'll lose blood circulation in his legs and need to get them amputated and you're a sick asshole for suggesting he should put his life in danger. And we're going to be seeing a begging marathon every couple weeks now, aren't we? Looks like that increased begging goal didn't pan out like he was expecting.

I’m all for Phil trying to find new lazy ‘hahnest’ ways to milk his paypigs dry.
