Are you getting the vaccine? - Absolute trashfire thread, please enter with caution

Just got my first Pfizer poke. I've been watching Breaking Bad again and they reference Pfizer in relation to having a "great lab". Did they know? :O
 
No, I have a great immune system. I'm in my 30's and have only been sick twice in my adult life, neither time was I sick enough to go to a doctor. One of the times I thought it was allergies until other people complained that I got them sick. The other time it was strep throat but it went away on it's own in less than a week.

Herd immunity is important to keep it from creating more variants, including ones that would be vaccine resistant. I know it's hard for some people to fathom, but you can do unselfish things sometimes

I know someone who recently got fully vaccinated, and then got blood clots for the first time in years. Keep in mind that this person has had a history of blood clotting issues before. She told me that she went and got the shots because she got enough peer pressure to do so and stupidly did not consult a doctor first.

This is ultimately my take on the vaccines: If you don't want them, then don't take them. And fuck everyone who wants people to be forced to take them-- congrats, you're an authoritarian asshole if you believe that. If you do want the vaccines, though, then I think it's safest to consult your doctor first especially if you have had a history of health scares before. And if you are on the fence about it, then why not consult your doctor first? Don't let your motivation be "social pressure" from people who aren't your doctor.

Did you just dox yourself? I'm Vaccine cautious too, but this sort of talk is ridiculous.

Don't take it then, just don't rip into people who took it.

Edit: How was I supposed to know this was a copypasta? I don't pay attention to the latest (or earlier for that matter) copypastas, and people have gotten so insane that it's becoming more difficult to tell satire from reality.
