The west fucked up by not making hitler go east and start WWII against only the russians, basically the full force of the nazis being against the soviets, and instead even helping the soviets knowing well that the commies werent going to return the favor. Of course the third reich economy was a joke even before the war with the mark being little more than monopoly money and a massive bubble about to burst. Even if they won against the soviets and commies had been erased as an actual threat the nazis would be stretched to the breaking point with no way to keep control over their new territory. The west would then swoop in and support nationalist movements in the former-soviet now nazi-barely controlled countries like ukraine and the baltics who I seriously doubt would've liked to go from soviet slaves to lebensraum fodder, and start a guerrilla uprising the nazis wouldnt be able to contain given how exausted their forces are. Eventually the nazis would lose power over germany itself as people get tired of their retarded shit bankrupting the country and killing millions of young men for territory they couldnt even hold let alone take advantage of. Sure people like nationalism but they like not starving or living in misery more than that. The result its a west not nearly destroyed by WWII, no commies, no cold war, no eastern europe being a backward shithole until the 90s, etc
