Family may have gotten her photo professionally taken then never really put it out anywhere (possibly due to TLC asking it be put away), leaving Ari to feel like putting it in her room so it was at least somewhere. Have to keep in mind Ari likely wasn't the one going out and getting the photo done herself, her parents had to be involved which makes it more of a memento of being the center of attention with one of her parents for at least that day.

Jazz was too young to remember what actually happened and as the family has done a lot to gaslight and romanticize the situation, he's not reliable. He probably has a lot of fake memories.
