Is it? I'm not trying to be cunty, it's an honest question. I think that most of these people legitimately think that CRT is just talking about how slavery, Jim Crow, etc. existed and that them there Republican'ts (ha, owned) just don't want anyone to know (because the history of American slavery isn't taught in American schools, never has been.) They just have no idea what they're (generally speaking, some are of course actually aware of the batshit stuff) supporting but the advertising that they're ingesting tells them that it's just about teaching history.

I'm not really disagreeing with that sentiment, I'm just wondering aloud about how many of the people saying that it's such a good thing and making comics about it like the one posted actually have any idea what CRT is. It's not to discount how harmful it is if the herd follows it, it's just a question on my part wondering how many know what they're following (my assumption being that it's a small minority).

No, it's been around since the '70s at least and is an offshoot of so-called "Critical Theory," a product of the Frankfurt School of scholars. Much like most of these products, it is usually a degenerate form of some previously existing philosophy, as Michel Foucault was at least in part a degenerate Nietzschean.

Joggers and dune coons already do that, and the bignose tribe has been pretty nervous about it. Some broad (I can't recall who, but Bari Weiss wrote about it on her substack) recently pointed out that "islamophobia" gets consistently denounced and called out, and we should be doing the same, with the same fervor, for anti-semitism. Said broad was fired, for her efforts.
