I was looking for a clip of Boogie and accidentally fell upon a clip of Keemstar discussing him on the Cold Ones podcast (link). It was pretty interesting, only has 83k views, and offers some insight into not only his relationship with Keem, but also his finances. For reference, the clip was uploaded on their channel on 02/24/20. This was just a month or so after the entire SWAT-ing saga and when Keem was pissed at Boogie for talking shit about him in DM's with a fake IDubbz account that got leaked.
Keem says that at the time, Boogie's claim that he had a PR team advise him to leak false info that he had been SWAT-ed was total bullshit. Not only because he obviously didn't have a PR team (or a FBI agent friend advising him), but also because there's no way he could have afforded one. He says that at the time Boogie was making less than $5,000 / month on YouTube.
He also knows Boogie pretty well, and while I might be reading too much into this, it's interesting that in the context of Boogie's finances he first jumps to the $$$ he makes (or rather doesn't make) on YouTube. He doesn't mention the fantasy crypto investments Boogie pretends later made him a millionaire which at the time he claimed was his primary source of income. Keem also talks about a group chat of 50 big-time YouTubers he put together for the sole purpose of convincing Steven not to kill himself. Instead of taking advantage and changing his ways, all three say that Boogie only used his suicidal threats for the attention it was getting him.
I know it's late, but I feel like this clip really does a good job of confirming what we already know. It's also interesting because Boogie pretends that Keemstar is among his best friends in the world these days. I am interested to know what exactly Boogie has on Keem for him to flip-flop on his feelings for Steven so much. I don't follow Keem too closely, but he certainly doesn't seem to give other creators near the amount of the benefit of the doubt and goodwill he gives Boogie.
