I've been scanning a few things in the thread trying to find anything that may have been missed. Earlier in this thread, I noted that I found it odd that Reddit user Raekel had posted the "
Farewell Near" post in r/emulation when they were not normally active there. This user's post history showed they were also an Ohio resident, and lived about 40 minutes outside of Columbus. But looking a bit further - a user name ohio-state had also
made a post about a month beforehand worrying if Byuu had committed suicide. Again, not a very active member of r/emulation and post history shows they also live in the Columbus area. Nobody else in that Reddit has made any posts about Byuu's disappearance, so I just find it odd that concidentially two people who don't seem that active in the community but happen to live near Byuu made posts about him. If I had to guess, he's using either his husband's account or a friend's to make a post and see just how many people worry or actually care about him when he "vanishes" and wants validation. It seems like we've hit a lot of dead ends so far and are just waiting for Byuu to pop back up again at this point, so I'm just combing through things in the meantime.
CT makes sense as they started issuing in 2008. It's easy to forget that this was from before gay marriage was legal everywhere in the USA.

I also checked into this, and I can't find their marriage certificate anywhere. I got a bit curious since if they were married in CT in 2009, it's highly unlikely their marriage would have have been anywhere in the OH records, and I can't find anything linking Patrick to David outside of this thread. While it does seem like we have our man via the images and I'm inclined to believe the dox is legit, when I looked to find the source of the information it looks like the person who released that information,
@Queefer Madness, had their account removed as their profile states it's no longer available. Searching their name only pulls up posts about Byuu, save for one shitpost in a wrestling thread. Maybe I'm just overly bored and being bit stupid here, but I'd love to know how they made the connection outside of "somebody just gave me the info."
