Because it implies a rational alternative to their incessant screeching lunacy and nonsensical, ignorant views of how the world works. They hate "liberals" too, for much the same reason as "alt-right" hate "cuckservatives." Anything other than pure fanatical extremism is treason and even worse than being an open enemy.

Why would they? According to the Woke, they literally have all the answers and have absolute moral authority over everyone else, by right of being everyone's moral superior. I've said it before, but they "identify as" good people, to a near religious level. And if you're "good" then you don't debate or discuss or god forbid, compromise with anyone else, because by definition their thoughts and opinions are not-good -- which is "evil." And good doesn't compromise with evil. Good destroys evil.

I saw this madness coming in the bubble, but it was always the fringe of the fringe. But thanks to social media, software-created epistemic closure, and the general lack of a spine on the left (to wit: Pelosi can't tell the DSA to fuck off, because she NEEDS the DSA's activists to knock on doors for the DNC) it's taken over the entire left, or at least some level of operational control of it. (This, of course, is "Entryism", a favorite Marxist trick.)

The left hate the liberals for not being extreme enough. The "alt-right" hate the cuckservatives for being liberals. It's not about being fanatical, it's about being remotely conservative. You can't conserve anything when your stance is always liberalism three years ago. Remember the push back against fag marriage and now you have cuckservatives flying gay pride flags every where.

Everyone hates centrists for the same reason they hate other political groups. They think they have all the answers by taking both sides of an argument and sitting between them. They're "informed" by reading two types of insanity and then sitting on the fence. Boogie is the centrist poster child, his opinion shifts with the overton window, so he doesn't have an opinion but he's "informed" and going to lecture you how he does.

People who take their position on individual issues instead of factions and based on pragmatism rather than ideology are obviously going to be made haram by zealots and strawmanned by every side. Is either the whole package or none, much like sects even single issue disagreeances are enough to be seen as seditious so pamphleteers will se a point to try and make everyone fall in line.
