Watching this was interesting, based solely on Ethans lament that he was getting sued, along with hate, and that his like/dislike ratios were a lot worse than James Charles, who he kept referring to as a predator. His diatribes into how people were scamming viewers with crypto and gambling were followed by wondering why people "hate" him more than these people who don't take responsibility for their actions. He admits that he is a douche.

He ends up calling YouTube a cesspool, which in itself was fascinating to me, considering his reputation of kowtowing to Mommy Susan. Part of me feels like he is acknowledging the bullshit that he takes part in. Or is he just trying to appeal to a different audience now that Paytas is gone?

I think it's a matter of influence. I don't know all the sides of the James Charles situation, but what I do know is that he has money and reach that far outweighs Klein, not to mention possibly better lawyers.

Not to mention Charles has already been through his share of controversies and came out clean, for the most part.

It's also how they present themselves. I think James Charles presents himself as more personable and overall friendly manner, at least from what I've seen, than Ethan does. Whether that's a good or bad way to view them doesn't really play into it. With Charles, the average person sees a well-kempt dude who is just really really gay. But with Ethan, at least nowadays, they see a fat prick who insulted his fanbase and is just going through the motions. And when you put down and insult the people who supported you from the onset, then you're not going to have as many people who got your back when you really need them.

People like Crowder and Tim Pool are also just really easy to get an audience goof on and laugh at, especially if your audience doesn't agree with their politics. Crowder is obviously obnoxious and Pool is obviously a whiny little bitch.

I would highly suggest it to anyone interested, because I think it highlights how people tend to view those who are two-faced.
