I used to follow the Margo thread pretty closely, and was excited to see Venus escaping her batshit mom and reclaiming her life. Checking in on this thread after a few years of not keeping up with either of them, and seeing this downward spiral... It's pretty damn disheartening.

This thread is pretty infected. Benoos has been away from her mom for years now and people still cling onto the mommy nearest narrative for dear life. Lots of people come from much more abusive homes and they manage to utilize therapy and not have a downward spiral. People are letting their empathy get in the way of reality- that she's an emotional vampire to everyone she encounters and self sabotages at every chance she gets.

While I won't deny that Venus is absolutely refusing any single opportunity to improve her situation by even one iota -

She only semi-recently grew to cowdom, and her milk is mostly self-poisoning, so I'm more inclined to pity her and occasionally scoff, rather than vice versa. The most harm she does is to herself. Amusing in that nasty Kiwi Farms way, but not really cowlike imo.

I think she's been a cow for a long time though, she just managed to do it behind closed doors or cover it up with half-truths. Every single friend she has had- Mikan, Tsuruko, June, Apricot, Kenna, Taylor, they all dropped her or completely severed contact. Venus is the only common denominator. Mikan alluded heavily (without direct name dropping) that Venus was extremely emotionally draining and it was a one sided relationship. The only thing saving her from being a long-time cow was that a lot of her cringe online activity was excused by her adolescence.

In conclusion we all do want her to fix her shit, but we're tired of her lazy content milking coins from us to continue her horrible life style.

Well I’m pretty sure she’s making Manaki’s life miserable and has been for years now. Imagine having this alcoholic druggie nutcase planted in your apartment. He must never know what he’ll be coming home to every time he gets off work. Will she be passed out cold? Or weaving and stumbling around the apartment in a drunken haze? Or maybe dead this time?

How many times has he had to go out and collect her drunk ass in some karaoke bar at 5am? I’m sure that one drunk livestream was not an isolated incident. How humiliating do you think that was?

Who got the call when she got herself banned from some hotel chain for cutting herself or whatever that was? Or when the cops were called when she was drunk on the street getting beat up by some guys? Good old Manaki, that’s who. God know what else he’s had to bail her our of.

She’s belittled him, ridiculed him, publicly humiliated him, smeared and lied about him financially leeched off him and generally treated him like shit for the past 5+ years now, *after* he provided her with a visa, a refuge and a meal ticket. The thing with Venus is that, because of her abusive childhood, she's gotten one of the worst mental illnesses you can possibly have and it's almost impossible to work through (it was recently discussed in the Luna thread, so it's fresh in my mind). I mostly feel pity for her at this point and only even watch this thread to see how far down she'll spiral.

This alcohol stream is the saddest one so far. Her moderator seems like a creep. Constantly enabling her behaviour on stream and telling chat to stop asking questions, what shit does he enable off stream? So does this mean that all her onlyfans shoots or streams were done in an alcoholic stupor? She really was just coping with degrading herself through that entire thing. Yes, Venus is constantly dropped by almost all friends she has made over the last few years in Japan. If they all drop her then there must be a reason for it. I can understand how Venus would be emotionally draining but you gotta remeber that info is coming from Mikan Mandarin - she's hardly the best person to support anyone. Especially considering her own past and also how self obsessed she is.

Heck, almost all of those mentioned Jvlogger girls are probably too self absorbed to care about anyone other than themselves. They likely aren't the most honest of friends either since being part of that community seems more like maintaining work relationships with coworkers, rather than actual personal friendships. How do you know her childhood is the sole reason for her mental illness? How do you know she wasn't always like this and would end up a shitshow even if she had good parents? Obviously her upbringing didn't help, but you don't know that's it's single-handedly what caused her to end up this way.
