Shame, but I don't blame the guy. I can barely get through a 10-15 minute daily detractor video or a few minutes of his stream. The mere thought of sitting through his content 12 times a week, then going back to find the best bits and making them into videos is already depressing.

Does anyone know if you ever get to see a hub or a switch among the mess in his ahffice? I'm curious if it is possible to tell what model it is because it is probably a bottleneck and nullifying the "business internet". As for his wifi, it is obvious the signal is terrible.

Definitely with him on this one. I couldn't bring myself to sift through his bullshit daily and maybe with a little extra past recordings of his contradictions. Barely could keep up watching him live and he had a good balance of editing to his work. His premise was exactly what I found entertaining about current Phil and that was getting the most bang for your buck when he doesn't hit his arbitrary tips goal.

It’s a deserving joke but personality toxicity is a real thing. Only being around assholes can make you an asshole because it saps your attention and energy when you’re dealing with, placating or otherwise managing shitheads, and DSP video detractors willingly expose themselves to his shit-smelling poison. Maybe there are tractors out there who actually are trying to turn a profit but I’m going to try and be optimistic and assume they’re doing it to entertain or make people laugh and for that I salute them, even the ones with obnoxious video intros. More power to you guys because when I think about subjecting myself to a full Phil stream just to find funny clips I get physically ill. He’s just an asshole 100% of the time anyone can see him. I can’t imagine him being anything but during any other part of his life.

Honestly, it took awhile for me to get to a point where his awful toxicity stopped pissing me off and just made me laugh because of the absurdity of it all.

I don't blame anyone who feels like they need to get the fuck off of this ride though, it probably isn't for the faint of heart. I'm not exaggerating at all when I say that he has literally one of the worst personalities I've ever had the misfortune of being exposed to.

I think many people can agree that DSP is one of the worst types you could see. I'm at the laughing phase as well because everyday is how Dave can screw himself more then blame others for it.

In the ninth season Seinfeld episode 'The Voice' Jerry has an injoke with George where they pretend his girlfriend's belly talks to him at night in a silly jovial voice. His girlfriend finds out and hates it and demands he either stops making those jokes or she will dump him. His friends are saddened they can't do the voice anymore and Jerry does some soulsearching where he ultimately decides the voice is too important to lose. He breaks up with his girlfriend and then goes and happily tells his friends they can do the voice again, only for them to inform him the voice is played out.
I think he's trying to say Jerry chose comedy over his relationship in reference to this episode. Why he brought this up to Phil I have no clue.

On one hand, it's easy for me to not be mad about Phil because he voluntarily locked himself away in a prison where he toils away depleting his already-minimal physical, mental, and emotional health for a fat cut of tardbux. He killed himself on a spiritual level many years ago and we've been watching the remaining empty husk wither away, sharing banter and placing lighthearted bets on when the husk finally dies as well.

But on the other hand, pigroach is one of the biggest examples of a seriously depressing and distressing fact of life: Some shitty people get rewarded and some good people get fucked, over and over again, on a daily basis, sometimes for their entire lives. It's unhealthy to dwell on that fact for too long, and witnessing anything pigroach does forces you to dwell on it because he is peak "shitty person gets rewarded over and over again on a daily basis". It's always a good idea to step away and forget he exists for a while just on that fact alone.

There's a key thing to remember, lads. Any of us can take a break from the vortex, or even bail out of it entirely. The pigroach can't. This is his personal hell and he's never getting out. The day pigroach stops begging is the day pigroach stops living. There is no other escape for him.

My non-business class internet that I get from comcast for $50 a month is faster than DSP's absurdly priced business class internet.

That was the thing that always got me. I worked for a small business that had Comcast business class internet albeit it was in a different region in the US. The advantage of Comcast business service, as it was explained to me, was for a business that had many users that needed to use significant amounts of data but all being routed through the same modem/device. Service quality was never guaranteed and it was not as fast the Comcast consumer service I had at home.

TL;DR Comcast business service was explained to me by Comcast as essentially a 8 lane highway but the speed limit is 45 mph. Home service is a 4 lane highway where the speed limit 70 mph.

Edit: All this also depends on how Comcast wired his neighborhood. If multiple are on his line that Comcast ran throughout the neighborhood, he is going to get some delays during peak hours no matter the service.

Iirc his utility accounts were hacked at some point and his Comcast account was one of them, confirming what package he paid for.

One of the other benefits to business class internet is 24/7 premium customer support, which I believe means if need be they will send out a tech to work on his modem or setup when they otherwise wouldn’t and he gets priority, supposedly, but you’re never going to convince me one business account would ever get priority over, say, a 500-account residential outage, but considering Phil works out of his shitty basement his grownup adult office at home one would think he would receive service restoration simultaneously in such a circumstance.

It’s a bullshit vanity purchase he makes every month, and it’s a weird dweeby one at that. At least the BMW made sense.
