I'll check back on it in about a month or so and see what's up.
On a side note, I did some poking around on Twitter. While not talking about Dobson as much, two strips seem to consistently come up: His infamous Power Girl comic, and the post he made to Zelda Williams telling her to "Calm Thy Tits."
Somebody mentioned his CattyN phase, and when somebody asked about it, a reply summed up Dobson as somebody who, while posing as a teenager, once drew his characters kidnapping and drugging girls, before murdering them by blowing them up and proceeding to make out in their remains.
...I mean, that's exactly what happened, but when it gets put like that, it really makes Dobson sound like an outright psycho, doesn't it?

yet another example of his regression, this looks semi nice, knowing that it was early college I'll even cut him some slack because at that point he could use the "I'm still learning" excuse and it would be valid, but compare that to his Korrasami animation, that abomination looks like it was made by a bored teen in paint

And then he melted the fuck down. He didn't just have a "Dude, that was totally not cool" post, he had a full-on mantoddler tantrum about getting sprayed with water. And has been completely butt blasted by three squirts for over a decade. Turning Spray man into a retroactive master troll.
Like just close your eyes, nigga. Haha just get one shitty bathroom paper towel.

yet another situation that Dobson could have exploited to his benefit and instead took the most retarded approach possible, as said above he could have just made a "not cool asshole" post and moved on and could have even mocked the "sprayer" by saying shit like "imagine going to a convention possibly even buying train tickets/plane just for a "le epic troll" moment for internet points" but instead Dobson started crying as if he had just survived an assassination attempt

Dobbles is an inverse Wings of Redemption. Whereas Jordie is surrounded by trolls who manage to look more pathetic than him, Dobson always manages to look worse than his trolls no matter how pathetic those trolls objectively are.

He brings it all on himself, that's the thing. He doesn't need to, he chooses to, thinking that will give him the biggest gain (attention/money/clout/etc.). It never does, but he never learned to stop. I mean, you can make a mistake or fuck up a thing, but if you don't learn from that and not do it again and again and again, you never get anywhere. All you really gain is a reputation for fucking up.

Had the same reaction.
When I heard about him being sprayed, I thought it was funny, watched the video and realized how pathetic and juvenile it was.
But Dobson just had to be an utter idiot about it and now I think the whole thing was fucking hilarious in retrospect, just by the amount of content it created in the aftermath.
Dobson tried so many times to portray this as a super scary assault that rocked him to the core, but he was just sprayed with water. The guy lived rent-free in his head for a decade now and his repeated attempts to squeeze into the circles of abuse victims in his Twitter echo-chamber were transparent and lazy.
I don't doubt that it was an eye opener to Dobson, who had to come to terms that being a shithead online could very well lead to someone punching him in the face down the line, but he neither stopped to assess how large that threat actually is (protip: nonexistent) or what would make people even want to punch him in the face in the first place (protip: his own shitty online behaviour).
Any normal person would either brush it off based on it being a lame prank or rethink his online behaviour, Dobson on the other hand just never brought it up for years and then it was suddenly the most terrible thing to ever happen to him.
Or, to paraphrase Street Fighter's best line:
"The day some troll sprayed you with water was the most important day in your life... but for me, it was just a prank bro."
