Unfortunately it has probably backfired, as the mainstream tech news outlets have reported that HE HIMSELF IN PERSON is dead. He mentioned that he also has a real job in a company doing reverse engineering, and making enough money to afford a decent enough amount of, if we're gonna quote that one guy on the radio in GTA SA, "drugs and hookers" he might want. If he ends up getting exposed, that company would definitely be in a non ideal position, as people would call it "the company where a wannabe troon, that killed himself but not really, worked at" so it wouldn't be surprising if he ended up fired, which would make this a dumb move on his side. At the same time from a different perspective, perhaps he was smart with his money and that wasn't a problem, and he learned Russian as well and moved to Russia, probably somewhere in Sahalinsk. In Russia 100k USD can get you some pretty nice house or apartment. However, it is also well known the Russians don't appreciate Пидарасы too much, so that could be questionable as well. Or perhaps he did kill himself, but his corpse hasn't stank up the place enough yet to raise some eyebrows. He does live in an apartment as well, in a skyscraper, so it is kinda strange that the neighbors weren't aware of anything, unless I'm wrongfully equating Slavic and Japanese neighbor behavior. Or perhaps he IS the troon from the Xband video, but since he's anonymous, and we don't even know his voice, he can get away with it, and that's his seemingly unrelated persona he built up over time. He is so adamant about preservation after all, and Xband seems like another perfect gap to fill in.

*Edit*: Holy shit that part about him moving to Sahalinsk in Russia aged like fine milk left on the summer sun in Okinawa over the afternoon, seeing the Russian invasion of Ulkraine. With the sanctions he wouldn't be able to get any somewhat quality hormones, but only some sketchy hormones that a random gopnik cooked in his UAZ van. And unless he dumped all his money into crypto shekels, he wouldn't be able to make use of it anyways.

I highly highly doubt Russia was ever on his radar as a place to live. "The Orient" has apparently interested him for most of his life so it makes sense he'd move to Japan, Tokyo in particular, but if he were to move elsewhere it'd probably be China if they let him, which I'm sure they would. I don't remember where but he did show an interest in China, as foolish as that is, and claimed to be working on Mandarin. I think this was years ago.

Russian culture is not his friend outside of maybe Moscow. Frankly, I doubt he even has the money he offered Null. I'm sure he has a comfortable living due to his apparently frugal lifestyle and skillset, but this is a mentally ill person who obviously wasn't making a whole lot in the US with a potentially valuable skillset, I doubt they moved to Japan and got offered significantly more on top of that. Their "proof" was just screenshots of text and they wanted to pay $120k at a rate of $1k/month.
