Trump Enslavement Syndrome - Orange man good. /r/The_Donald and any public demonstration of rabid pro-Trump enthusiasm in spite of all reason.

Because people who believe in left leaning opinions cannot take a single bit of criticism for every single one of their harmful ideas.
Oh that's ironic coming from the guy who is tardraging that we are making fun of covidiots and Trump cultists.

Nor does one single "liberal" today even know how to take responsiblity for their own actions or thoughts. They want to blame everyone else and turn the government into a Nanny State.. while denying they want that.
Not true at all. They are just sick of their taxes being paid so corporations and the ultra rich can get more money, are sick of people who are trying to bring us socially back to the 1930s and are sick of uneducated, proudly ignorant people worshipping a career conman because he made being racist more socially acceptable.

Looks like you found @Kornula's Twitter handle

Quick question - how many of you have seen Misery?
Not sure if this fits but I'll put it here

It's almost like they're using this bullshit as a way to get their agenda into schools, isn't it?

I disagree, of course. The Marxists should fight back. We must teach Liberation Theology in schools!

Like I said a year ago thinking a pandemic, race riots, and the worst economy in years wouldn't hurt an incumbent was Hillary 2016-level hubris. The bewildered reaction from the MAGA hugbox was almost exactly identical to team #NastyWoman; anyone who wasn't hooked into the copium could see a Trump loss coming or at least entertain it as a realistic possibility.

CRT seems to be pretty poorly defined, especially by those opposing it. But goddamnit, even if it solely consisted of white kids putting on shackles and being paraded around the campus while being called ethnic slurs by the non-white students, trying to get the government to step in and ban it is downright un-American. Oh, and requiring schools to have pro-America curriculums is fucking anti-American too.

And it's probably not even effective because if I was a teacher and I was required to teach a pro-puppies curriculum I would be looking for any loopholes that would allow me to tell my students about why puppies aren't 100% perfect; the attempt to legislate away my ability to teach them those facts would tell me that that's exactly the information that they need to hear.

They thought Trump would win based on enthusiasm alone and Biden being boring/connected to Obama would be enough a turnoff.

It's always the "small government" people who want to use government power like this for some reason.

Remember how people were going "How could he have lost? Look at the boat parades!"

Fixed that for you
Disagree. All he had to do was put on a facade of being an actual President. Biden is acting like an actual President, although possibly the most senile, retarded one we've ever had, if you exclude Reagan's last two years, when he was showing signs of actual dementia, as opposed just to his previous period of just not being really smart.

Yeah that's what I was sort of going for but didn't convey it well. Trump needed to at least act like a proper leader instead of going the route of either acting like it's 2016, making his campaign about socialism vs capitalism, or didn't sprerg out at Fauci who he appointed.

It really amazes me how the cultists think Trump was this super popular president. He was pretty widely disliked by all but his cult. His cult was very, very enthusiastic about him, but their vote still counts as much as the person who reluctantly voted for Biden.

I also don't understand why people think Biden didn't campaign. He had plenty of commercials, speeches, etc... He didn't hold superspreader rallies during a pandemic, but he did plenty of campaigning. It's not 1950 anymore, people can campaign in ways that aren't rallies

I think had covid not happened, Trump had an okay chance of winning, but he legit couldn't have done worse if he tried on covid. He complained about the CDC, Fauci, etc... who were all people or organizations run by people who he appointed. He encouraged his braindead supporters to ignore social distancing and masks, which his own appointees said were good measures. He just wanted to hide under some jackets and hope it all blew over and wanted to not be responsible for anything bad, but when you're president, you need to be responsible.

His popularity hasn't grown since he left office, either, so it seems odd that the Republicans are trying to hitch everything to this man. I see people saying they should make him Speaker of the House if the GOP takes it back.
