It still kills me that MTF troons claim to feel like women on the inside, but they can't decorate their homes for shit. When you hit your forties and your abode still looks like a neckbeard nest, it might be time to question the whole "ladybrain" theory of transness.

That is fundamentally the same thing. The point was that they were considered savages / lesser human beings because of their heritage. It wasn't a hostitlity to culture, it was a hostity to everone born Irish.

They obviously had white skin. The point was that they were not considered Anglo Saxon, which is now synonymous with the modern concept of whiteness, hence their treatment in the potato famine. In the same way that slavs have pale skin but were considered an inferior race by the nazis.
