I dunno. Corissa drinks something like two to four liters of Dr Pepper a day by her own admission. Her canned pears, Cheetos, Pop Tarts, and other assorted processed foods are definitely not a balanced diet, but her myriad health issues, including her nasty angry skin and lung inflammation, would almost certainly improve if she just put down the bottle and didn't add in more crap food. But as we all know, it's moot because it's not going to happen. She's a dope.

Speaking of skin and diets (lmao):

We've been made to believe that a certain skin aesthetic = skin health. We've been sold products that help us achieve that aesthetic at the *expense* of skin health. We've been taught "science" that's actually just a bunch of racist, sexist, colonialist, capitalist beauty standards — and we've been taught almost nothing about how our own skin and bodies actually work. Doctors we trust to care about our wellbeing are disproportionately concerned with our appearance. (Think: MDs who tell fat people going through serious health issues to "just lose weight;" dermatologists who suggest Botox and fillers to patients at annual skin cancer screenings. It happens. Often.) We idolize those who are actually *unhealthily* obsessed with adhering to a societally-mandated aesthetic ideal as "skincare" experts. The truth is, there's no difference between "detox teas" and "detox face masks." There's no difference between obsessively counting calories and obsessively applying active ingredients. There's no difference between devising a diet to eliminate fat and devising a skincare routine to eliminate dead skin cells and oil and pimples and wrinkles. Collectively, as a culture, we're waking up to the fact that the diet industry has no real basis in science. That it manufactures impossible standards, then makes us feel bad about not living up to those impossible standards, then capitalizes on those insecurities in order to make money. That it's used its power and money to influence scientific studies, the medical system, government-suggested dietary guidelines, and more — resulting in rampant misinformation and declining health. That one's external appearance is not a reliable indicator of internal health (or worth, for that matter). It's time to wake up to the fact that the skincare industry is the same. Skincare culture is just dewy diet culture.
Jesus Freud, how transparent they are:

— Tess: fuck, I'm losing mobility everyday and can't take a full breath.
Y'all, fat people can be unhealthy, but they deserve respect k not me though look pilates
Anna: fuck, no one with peepee would fuck me; my most significant achievement is fake marriage with fake random gay.
Hi guys, it's okay to be an outcast in sex spectre, imma Annasexual and I'm super happy and fine and not alone look I bought a friend
— Kelly: fuck I look like decomposing moose
Ugliness is a capitalist colonial white supremacist diet cultural toxic racist classist and somethingiforgotaboutist concept and must be dismantled I'm hot btw
— J: fuck I can't wipe the shit from my ass or get up from the bed; better look for the sales on wheelchairs:
Disabled people are valid and deserve respect and it's okay and not because of fat y'all problematic people of shit; mindful rest is new joyful movement look I still can dance right
— Corissa: fuck I look like a baked hybrid of potato and orange
Healthy skin is capitalist copypastekellysargument lie, and the doctors secretly swap insulin injections with botox
— Amy: fuck no one buy my thingies but say I beet Ezra but she was almost three
I best biznes woomn in reepoxy fild and best mom of too uh three amazeen kiddos no Omar drop it or I dril

Fuck capitalism but oh hey check out these maternity clothes from Walmart

Can’t wait for the follow-up saga on how home buying is racist and oppressive: Did you know that sperm banks/fertility clinics are heteronormative and transphobic and a product of fascist capitalism? Please, buy these Walmart shirts, that embryo isn’t going to implant itself

Not seeing anything she could make a meal with, it's all snack food... Oh silly, insensitive me, cooking a basic fucking meal is too triggering!

And anything that would facilitate meal preparation is tucked away for the most inconvenient access suggesting they're not used much: full spice bottles packed tightly into a corner, InstaPot pushed into a dark corner while soft drinks take pride of place.

She was just asking people for skincare tips not long ago and what kind of cosmetic dermatological services she should get done next like lasers and peels. I think it's positive if a fat person is into skincare. It shows they at least have some healthy self care instinct left. There are even fat chicks who are super into skincare. A bad diet will always be bad for your skin period but the majority of skin ageing still comes from sun damage and active ingredients can do a lot, if you stick to them consistently. Corissa is just getting triggered reading about skincare and it reminding her of how much photodamage she's already sustained from the sun. It's not all makeup lite like Glossier. Just some antioxidants and lactic acid from The Ordinary would do her skin a lot of good.

Y'know, if I have the choice to not look like I'm in my 70s when I'm in my 30s, I'm gonna do something to prevent that from happening. Corissa is just butthurt that her horrible skin practices have gotten to her hard. What's next, skin cancer is fatphobic? Because she's on the way to skin cancer. Dunno how you'd check for suspicious moles on that girth, though.

In what universe has Corissa ever been "fucking chill?" I wonder if there was an argument about how much she reees over things or something like that and that's what she's seemingly randomly reeeing about.

Lol yup, bitch is big mad because she's caused damage to her skin through her garbage lifestyle that she's now figuring out isn't reversible. She drew the parallels towards her attitude about doctors herself, but similarly, she expects them to be fucking wizards who have magic potions which can undo partially permanent damage that she absolutely refuses to stop causing herself. These lard barges who wail about muh medical fatphobia are just fucking crying because no one else can do the work for them, as usual. It's the way a 5 year old might see things: "I can't do it, so it's obviously impossible." Keep coping I guess, but the mental gymnastics and constant defensiveness seem more taxing than just putting the fucking fork down, drinking some water and practicing good hygiene. But hell, if deathfats could practice delayed gratification they likely wouldn't be deathfats.

Corissa isn't asking about skincare because she cares, imo. She's asking because she's fishing for skincare sponsors like Anna/Glitter and Lazers. If Corossa gave an absolute single fuck about her skin, she'd be wearing sunscreen in that pool and she wouldn't be smoking weed all the time with her already chronic systemic issues. I'd bet real money that she isn't wearing sunscreen and thinks the water and hat means she's protected from the sun.

Her bad sun damaged skin is just another symptom of instant gratification and going with quick fixes instead of effort.

There’s been a few times in my life where I needed my skin to look good for an event or trip and the sure fire method was a light tan - cleared my skin like magic and gives you an instant no effort glow. It’s not something to rely on and if you do it too often you will pay for it in the long term.

Croissant wasn’t born in 1960. She damn well knew sun damages her skin but in the short term it gets results and requires no effort - just lay in the sun. It’s an instant gratification thing. Also when you’re fat and unhealthy tanning helps give an illusion of health, activity outdoors and vigor. Women have also claimed for years that tans make you look thinner too! So no real surprise Corissa would just let her fat ass bake in the sun - it’s a no effort activity with quick (short term) results.

I mean if a little tan looks good and is easy, then frying yourself like bacon has to be even better! It was a super stupid decision for her, she does not skin that can handle long term sun exposure. This is why she looks like a big eaten leather saddle.

The only thing her "we've been taught to believe that good skin is blah blah blah" sjw moralfag post tells me is that she's given up on serums and treatments and is buttmad about it. If one of these potions or doctors made her look less like a catcher's mitt, she'd have a sponsorship deal with them in a heartbeat.

Remember a couple of years ago when Corissa was blubbering on Instagram about the medical fatphobia she suffered because her doctor told her she desperately needed to lose weight? She angrily insisted that any attempt at weight loss would trigger her Tessorexia Nervosa and she'd waste away or harm herself trying. The doctor replied that no one was asking her to be a model and J retorted that, ackshually, Corissa was a model thank you very much.

Models.

How could that stupid doctor fail to notice she had a bona fide model in her office?

"Tessorexia Nervosa" is fabulous. That is all.

Is that…..SODA?!?

Sometimes we forget how much it takes to maintain this type of weight. This pantry reminds us.

Im with you about it being a good sign that a deathfat is into skincare....to an extent. Part of me says "well, at least they have some instinct on some level to preserve their own health!" But otoh, isn't it just like manicures and luxury bags and dangerhair and (until a certain weight) fancy shoes? Bullshit that fat girls can consoom without being self-conscious or sizing out?

I remember she did a sponsored skincare thing but I can't remember what it was. Some brand I never heard of.

I consider skincare more of a health promoting thing but fat girls probably approach it in a more consumer way and see it as akin to makeup and other cosmetic stuff.
