I agree with most of what you said but some people push these kinds of ideologies for reasons other than clickbait or to protect billionaires. You characterize it as "secret cabal in a darkened room" but there are people on a connect call right now talking about new ways to normalize tranny shit and they're not doing it for money.

Sure, people want to push a lot of ideologies that suit them or make their own lives easier. They wouldn't get anywhere if they didn't have the massive amounts of media and cultural backing that the trans movement does.

What are they doing it for then?

On an individual level there's a lot of reasons to do it: because you genuinely believe it is a human rights movement in the same vein as gay marriage, because you want to be cool, because you're mad at your parents, because you like tranny porn, because your friends are doing it. But none of those individuals doing it for their own reasons would be getting book contracts and jobs in media if their aims didn't suit those at the top.

I just don't buy that there is some secret cabal of people pushing trans stuff because they hate Western civilization or whatever reason. That idea is nothing but cope. It is a lot easier to accept that there is a group of ideologues at the top pushing this for the sake of evilness, and all we have to do is overthrow them or get people to stop listening to them, and then the world will be fixed and we will all live in cottages and chop wood and fuck our attractive tradwives and Jesus himself will descend from the heavens and give us a gentle kiss on the forehead.

There are a lot of very powerful people who want to hold on to their money. They'll use particular ideologies if it helps them do that, and they are happy to use their power and money to influence both the left and right sides of the political spectrum in ways that benefit them personally.
