How to stop repetitive thoughts

Head-desk each time you have the thought. - works but is painful
Doing something that requires concentration. - bog standard displacement activity. Works well.
Meditation. - takes some learning. Works well.
Fix the damned problem so you no longer have negative thoughts about whatever it is. - best option. Not always practicable.

Let me think about it. Let me think about. I'm gonna think on this for a bit and then write a response. So gimme a minute and let me think about it.

I know I can fix this problem if I just think about it some more. I've had my whole life to fucking think about it, but I know that despite the last 30 years of not coming up with an answer, that without a doubt I will in 5 minutes if I can just think about it a bit longer.

You need to touch and be touched to form oxytocin. Or just get high as balls all the time and fry out your brain so it's not so sensitive to all those useless neurochems.

i hyper fixate on a new topic for a few years at a time recently it has been sexuality before it was music before that it was food and so on and so forth. the only thing that works for me is finding a new thing to focus my attention on. this shit sucks.

So you're saying that you are an autist.

Stop, notice the thought then think, oh, that’s an odd thought, then move on. This is real advice I forgot the name of the technique tho. Good luck pure ocd nigger.
