My issue with Gary and his minions is at some point is it a real opinion or are they playing the role of Skip Bayless on Fox Sports, a hot take designed to get engagement from viewers? There's still this sense that they are searching for another Last Jedi moment. According to Gary, WandaVision sucked, Falcon and Winter Solider sucked, Loki sucks, Black Widow sucks. At some point, maybe go consume something else? Maybe? Also, M-She-U is bullshit branding for twitter fools to use as a hashtag. Its cringe. Frog is right that Gary propped up some idiot youtubers. Too much group think, too much grifting for super chats, nothing of value to actually watch or listen to.

WANDAVISION, what I saw of it, was great. There’s no denying that most of the MCU stuff is really well written and well made. I loved MANDALORIAN too. But I had to officially stop giving them my money and attention after the Gina Carano canceling, which was absolutely disgusting.

I can’t understand poking thru their movies and tv and toys to determine which are bad and which are terrible when the point is that the entire company is corrupt.

I was reading a comment on Frog's Youtube not long ago, by some Nerdrotic show watcher, and I was totally fascinated by the strangeness of the guy's attachment to Nerdrotic. He was talking about how boring Gary's show was, but also complaining about a rival superchatter 'George' who sends massive superchats that he can't compete with. (Sounds like a shill to me, in the traditional sense of a fake customer/bidder who is there to encourage higher custom/bids from real people)

But this guy then went on to say that he himself sent Gary a superchat, and watched the whole boring show waiting for it to be read, but Gary missed it. So then he had to go and watch one of these 'superchat catchup' shows these superchat-jockeys have, and he sat through all of that, but Gary missed it again. Leaving him very frustrated! But I LOLed when I read his account of it all, thinking what a weird pathetic bastard.

I mean I'm reading this thinking, what the fuck is wrong with this dude? What is this shit? Like what is this business model, how does it work? There's an addiction mechanism at play I think. Gary's like some human slot machine, a human talking toy, and these fucking munted retards on the internet are sitting there, putting money into him, waiting for him to speak their shitty garbled inconsequential superchat. What in the absolute fuck kind of entertainment is this? How are these people functional humans? How do they have money? Is it given to them by the government, because they're retarded, and the government wants to subsidize retardation?

To top it off, they're paying a 30% tax to Youtube every single superchat. Some culture warriors! Youtube management must be absolutely laughing their asses off. They must be praying Hollywood burns down every last franchise left, and then re-burns the burnt leftovers, since they absolutely rake it in every time a superchat is sent from idiot A to idiot B crying about it.

This all started because Az went on a passive-aggressive tirade after someone sent him a clip to stir up shit right before a major campaign launched. Az knows Anna and fragga really well and could have gotten in contact with Ethan super easily yet chose to stir the pot. The issue here is Ethan is making money from selling a product and Az/Gary make money from drama. Those guys made thousands of dollars from allowing hollywood to call all their fans nazis and crying about it.

Az is doing is a shakedown of sorts, he told Ethan to grovel at his feet or else he'd continue this nonsense thus risking sales from crossover fans. I find it hard to believe people who would spend hundreds of dollars on toys would be affected by this pity squabble anyways. The few who'd risk having to pay 3-4x down the road because two fat men are slap fighting are beyond help anyways.

What I said could easily apply to AZ too, but I'm going off of Frog's own pretense of good will and ignorance. He hemmed and he hawed stating that he hadn't meant for his comments to be applied to AZ, but that he said sorry on his stream anyway, but that he doesn't know AZ that well, but he doesn't deserve an apology anyhow... even down to (half)jokingly putting the blame on his paypiggies "this is going on because of you guys." There is always a front with it comes to EVS. If AZ was anywhere near Ethan's level, Ethan would probably leave him be. I know almost nothing about AZ, but that's close to the point: As a rule, Ethan never punches up.

Thinking about the sheer amount of hours everyone and their mother on breadtube now puts in on a daily basis and how all these guys expect that their peers also watch every minute of their own streams so when they drop a line 20 or 30 minutes in, they'll pick up on it. If Kiwi Farms can't keep track of every CG-related stream there is, it's completely unrealistic to expect any of the big names to do that either. In their case they get a series of alerts from their followers, which for the most part are used as content for future streams. It is almost unheard of to have streamers resolving their issues off-stream, but if you want to avoid unwanted drama that's the general idea.

If you want drama bucks, by all means continue. Just don't put your hand up against your forehead and complain that no one wants to shake your hand while it's stuck there.

I'm halfway though watching a third stream of Frog obsessing over the mythical Az and this is just getting tiring. Az is a random toy reviewer with zero investment in comicsgate and the personality of a cum sock. What is it about this bitter, thin-skinned Rian Johnson-looking mush-mouthed adult child that's so worth being friends with? I had never even heard Frog speak his name before this "debacle" and now it's as if he's lost a lifelong friend. This feels more forced than Randy from That 70's Show.

Honestly fuck The Fandom Menace. Fuck Az. Fuck Gary. Fuck FNT, whatever that is. All of these people are the definition of zeroes. It's frankly unhealthy. Middle aged, socially awkward, developmentally arrested ego maniacs, sitting atop kingdoms of dirt, parasitizing off megacorporations they openly despise. Frog's tweet from yesterday hit the nail on the head. These people were raised by media. It's probably all they have in their personal lives. Even most of the comicsgate weirdos have wives and kids. They can walk away from this shit and enjoy a barbecue by the pool. I don't think Fandom Menace people can nessicarily do that. So as bad as the media gets, they'll still be there, because without it they have nothing. No more parasocial relationships, no more superchats, no more gay ops. Just a bunch of aimless people, disenfranchised by the media that formed them, and unable to eke out an identity beyond the parameters of that disappointment.

I'm glad I'm someone who can have a piece of media ruined for them by a single line of dialogue or a single costume design. That artistic OCD made it easy for me to internalize that Star Wars was effectively over the moment I walked out of The Force Awakens. I didn't have to sit there and search for silver linings and come up with plot-saving fan theories and carefully divert my eyes from the ever-increasing signs of wokeness and peel through side media looking for something, anything that would make this constitute good storytelling. I was just done. I moved on with my life. I can't imagine the level of cognitive dissonance involved in maintaining that mental tightrope walk for six years. But that's the Fandom Menace.
