Friday Night Funkin - Getting freaky on a friday night

Didnt the person who made the Whitty mod pull out of the FNF fandom just because of how much lewded shit they were getting of their bomb guy? (I believe the creator is a teen, and Whitty is supposed to be Asexual or whatever)
I don't think so. The Whitty mod was made by KadeDev, who has shown no signs of stopping.

He found success when he encouraged the shipping of his character with another character called Whitty. Whitty is considered by many to be the first big mod the modding scene saw due to the fact that his mod included a considerable amount of original art and 3 new songs.
Factually incorrect. The actual reason the Whitty mod got popular was because it made changes to the game's framework itself, notably fixing an issue causing dropped inputs, making a setting to compensate for the insane input delay the game has and adding the ability to put in cutscenes in between songs. The changes were later condensed into Kade Engine which nowadays nearly every mod uses as its basis, so the Whitty mod that originated it gained notoriety with it.

it is hilarious to go and look at the fanart of madness combat. Almost every fanart I've encountered has been the cast being drawn as muscular hunks or total ikemen. There is still some fans who drew them in the original artstyle but I still find the fujo fanart to be very amusing.
Also, there's not much fujo art about Castle Crashers from what I've seen but who knows what will happen.

Whitty’s mod is canceled and just because of porn. His creator, sock.clip complained that Vs Tabi copied assets/traced over poses of Whitty and heavily reference the song Ballistic in Tabi’s Genocide. Tabi creator Homskiy ends up getting harassed over their mod, (the similarities in music were meant to be a tribute.) Sock.clip apologizes and asks people to stop harassing Homskiy but then complains about the Tabi mod again.

Here are some sprites that look suspiciously similar. I’m not sure if Homskiy actually traced sprites or not but this tribute/inspiration is suspiciously close to the other mod.

This is just the cliff notes version of the drama but it should be in the OP considering Whitty is a lot more popular than that guy the OP talked about.

Also Sock.Clip isn’t the only developer for this mod. I’m not sure what the other programmers, musicians and artists think of canceling it.

Well, the WhiteMORE update is officially cancelled and most people involved did make small statements about moving on from it (IIRC), and that was the result of Sock.Clip quitting the fandom altogether after the Tabi controversy happened. This update was going to be HUGE and it had many important people in the modding community working on it; however, since Sock quitted, all the WIPs and already-finished assets were canned "out of respect" to her.
Quoting directly from the FANDOM Wiki: "Nate Anim8 has uploaded a YouTube video update regarding the WhiteMore mod. It is confirmed that the mod will be cancelled due to Sock.clip's departure from the Friday Night Funkin' community and the toxicity surrounding it."
The contents of this update were the following, which meant that (at least) the following people (and their teams) were involved:
There was also word of mouth going around about V.S. Whitty being taken down from Gamebanana in its entirety (similar to what happened with Sky); but, thankfully, this did not happen, or a lot of mods could have been compromised for including Whitty's cameo alone (the website has had mods trashed due to raids and people getting too power-hungry with the report button in the past).

Edit: Sock seems to hate FNF!Whitty so much now that she has gone out of her way to redesign him "to make herself not hate Whitty".

Thank you for clearing up some of the stuff I said, (wrote my post at 5 AM really quickly,) I think people should be able to use Whitty however they want. When you make a public mod it’s not really your character anymore. That’s why sock getting mad at all the lewd art of Whitty makes me laugh. You just have to expect people will try to find anything fuckable at this point.

Krinkels himself oftentimes draws his characters as muscular hunks in unofficial art posts, so I don't think its that strange.

Yeah my memory of Madness Combat is about the games only so it's enlightening.
I'm still amused by some of the fujo fanart though because damn half of them are nice looking and the other half is fujo autism.

REMINDER. Fnf's modders attempt to make their own nintendo direct of a newgrounds game modding scene will happen IN an Hour. Possibility of cringe: High. Chance of a good mod: 50 - 50.

Edit: The Vs. Omega Mod is out! If that's even worth the "news". I can add some info about this mod since it's been an interesting ride with it.
So I would like to bring a quick update on the subject of V.S. Omega since the Gamebanana page has finally been properly updated, making my post a bit outdated in some places (and continuing to update my own post would just be messy).

First and foremost, not only the stats of the mod have returned (the page used to look like this upon release), but the number of downloads has finally stopped being frozen. For the first couple days it was 189 download, and now it is 6.9K.

A respectable number, I suppose, but for a mod that not only has been featured twice (once by manager pick) in the front of both the Friday Night Funkin' section and the website's main interface, and also has been shilled by popular FNF YouTubers like Flippy and Gregcoin, one would expect more downloads. Views, however, it's got over 100K, and over 200 comments at the moment of this post, so fair.

Here's the funny part, however: there are two more ways of downloading this mod, through Github or Google Drive. This is because, quoting from the page, "the download buttons are broken for now", so if you wanna get your hands on this 700MB beast and you cannot wait you have alternatives. Why mention this? Because now we don't know how many downloads does the mod have in reality, and apparently they have over 10K downloads in total now. While I don't wish to allege anything too inflammatory, the possibility about them still lying about how many downloads they get in order to push for more "DLC Goals" to be made is there.

Moving to the credits section of the mod, there's a few new things worth pointing out here as well:

  • I apologize for the screenshot dumping in the first place, but this credits section is HUGE. A total of 19 people are directly credited inside the mod (including Ceramic), but that only includes the main four components of an FNF mod: assets, music, charting and programming.
  • The great majority of the people participating in the mod did it in the form of assets (Art + Animation). The fact that the mod is artistically-inconsistent (such in the cutscenes or menu art), and the reason behind that, can be seen here. It's not exactly a ValiDate situation, but some of the people involved draw better than others for sure.
  • Ceramic is involved as the creator of the mod's story and main characters, as well as assets and music. I only mention this because if there are big drops in quality throughout the mod that might be why (you've all seen Brightside). Ceramic also used not to be credited on Gamebanana, as seen in this comment (I couldn't get an archived version of this, but you will find it if you scroll down enough).
  • Surprisingly enough, there's credit for ALL the OC character cameos found throughout the mod, so I don't get to take guesses on whether characters like Garcello or Kapi were added in with or without permission anymore.
  • Edit: not even bbpanzu wants to associate himself with Ceramic (which is interesting knowing how much of a leech he is). This means that not only Sunday (one of the characters announced as DLC) got canned, but that Carol cameo I've pointed out before might be taken out of the mod.
And I think that's where my corrections from post to post end. This is not the last time we're going to be seeing about Ceramic's magnum opus, however, knowing the DLCs and such. To conclude with this post, did you know that this mod contains at least one instance of stolen/traced art? You can see it on this cutscene and the original comes from the Friday Night Funkin' Kickstarter, no less!

Also retarded and unrelated question but do you guys think PhantomArcade is a pedo, given the 14(?)y/o girl moaning on a livestream incident?
Probably not. If anything, that incident was just a joke done in poor taste. There would have to be another similar incident for any conclusions to be drawn imo.

The new corruption video dropped like a day ago now and while my original unspoken expectations of it getting to the last guy and them reversing [glitchtale 2.0 I guess] so the guy who makes it can max out his ad revenue were kinda wrong (he managed to squeeze even MORE out of it) its still pretty damn close to what I expected the first time I ever even saw this AU. But hey at least the music has been getting more original as time goes on.

(edit: fixed some phrasing that bothered me)

Wasn't there already a trollge mod in the form of The Blueballs Incident? Or is this like a follow up?

Interacting with the kids of the FNF fandom would probably be sufficient to cure someone of pedophilia.
